^Yeah, those are very interesting topics, I can't wait until we get to them! But I guess the reason I like the 1700-1800's is because there were pirates... :pirate:

Ara, haha, well, that doesn't count! :P There are obvious reasons learning about the EIC would be exciting! :teehee: ;) oh, the later 1800's aren't so bad... yet. ;) ah, you and the pirates… :eyeroll: I like the special features on the CotBP dvd… they tell a LOT about real pirates, what their lives were really like and that time period and such. their lives were really glorified for the movies.... which I don't mind in the slightest, but still. ;) (haha, just proved that you can drag Pirates into any convo. :P)

Karigan, why in the world would your teacher make it sound like a drag? the 1700's and 1800's do sound like fun.... well, some of the time. ;) I mean obviously the plagues and vermin and no electronics wouldn't have been. :eyeroll: but still, a lot of it is interesting. oooo, sword fighting! :duel:

Darky, :notworthy: wow... oh, the history of Europe is fun. That's sort of what I'm doing now... well, more world history, but still. Europe was/is a big part of the world so it all counts. ;)

I've decided something. You know what's even more evil than math? Lectures about the importance of math.

Those lectures make me laugh :vampire: I get one at least every maths lesson I have, 'cause I say stuff like "But how will knowing how to draw a histogram/work out the area of a triangle/various other mathsy stuff help me in later life?"

*throws a bag of Hobbit Crunchies at Saira*

I can never stay awake during thoughs lectures. I always get yelled at for it too. But wouldn’t we need math to calculate how much money we make on the hobbit Toasties?
