I'll get part two up in a minute... but it's not as good as part 1, I think... though, I think part 1 is the best one... lol!
I was going to say something else... but I forgot what it was... lol!

I can't wait to read it! I'm sure it'll be great.

Wel it's about vampiric creatures who feed on emotions. And the main character is a recently turned one who was orphaned. So he has to deal with his new transformation and loss while everyone seems apathetic to him. It's a bit complicated.

^It sounds very interesting! Unique, too. I can't remember reading anything much like it. Best of luck in the writing!

I agree, very original! I like the sound of it. If you ever decide to show samples, I would be interested.

An emotional vampire? lol... aka a vampire who feeds off emotions... the story line sounds awesome, though it seems more about the drama of him becoming one of these vampires... It sounds interesting for someone who likes that kind of stuff. But honestly I'm not much for the drama...

vamps that feed on emotions? omg, if I wasn't sick of drama, I would totally want to read that! as it is, I have WAY to much drama right now to even begin to read some. :] sounds like a great storyline, though.
Anyway, here's a little something I've been working on...
Quote: “How does he sound?” Alexander asked in a whisper, trusting that she could hear him even if he couldn’t hear himself.
Madison lifted her eyes up from the sleeping baby in her arms, her soft gaze falling on her husband delicately. He stared back at her penetratingly, waiting intently for her to speak. Her lip quivered on the edge of speech, then the words flowed.
“He sounds sweet,” Madison said slowly. “Like honey.”
Alexander nodded, the shape of the words on her lips deciphering in his mind. “Even when he cries?” he asked.
“Even when he cries,” Madison said with a smile. “When he cries, his voice carries and pierces the air around him, setting the world on alert that he’s hungry, or that he’s sleepy, or that he needs to be changed.”
Alexander smiled at his little wife, pleased with this explanation of his new son’s voice. If he tried hard enough, he could almost hear the cry ringing in his ears. That was, of course, impossible. Alexander had been deaf in one ear since they met at fourteen and had lost all sense of hearing a year later. But Madison… Madison brought the sounds of the earth to his mind with her words alone, building up careful articulations of the voices and reverberations. Never before had he been so perfectly suited to anyone that they could paint a sound into his head. Who else would tell him that his new son sounded like honey? That seems ridiculous, doesn’t it? Something sounding like honey. But between Alexander and Madison, ‘sweet like honey’ made perfectly perfect sense, which was why, in a sense, their union was perfectly perfect.

Um, so, I'm not in this club (though I do write) but I come bearing a request of much import (aka I'm desperate) and since you all write too, it seemed reasonable to come here.
So, you see, the Writing Prompt Contest is on its second round. [[ Linky]] There were ten entries this time around, all about 1000 words (give or take) and since this comes across as a bit wall-of-text-ish, there's only been one voter so far, and it was me The voting's been up for about a week. I don't know how many of you actually entered the contest - I'm thinking probably at least a few - but anyone who didn't, could you pretty pretty please maybe find time to read through and vote? And even contestants, you can vote now if you so desire, though it's better if people who didn't enter vote, from what I understand. Anyway, yes - if anyone could help us out that would be great

Oh, mind if I join? I cannot say I could myself much of a writer yet but I think it's close enough. I have been trying to work on two different LotR fanfics but I have been a tad lazy with it really need to get back into it.

Wow. It has been awhile for this club.
Although, I do have news. In the fanfiction section, I am continuing my writing on "The Diaries of Ruth Ann Underhill" and, for Balathor, starting "Gifted Abilities".
