I'm really hating having to hate his character though!  SO not cool. But the whole thing between Roger and Susan makes up for it 100 fold. XD It'll be interesting to see what happens with Janet ... because she's a sweetheart and you can tell Roger is still a bit torn. HA HA HA HA! Tom and Janet FTW!!! And YAY for pot laced brownies!

Perhaps one of my FAVOURITE 9th season episodes. One of Daniel's SEXIEST episodes too...his OUTFIT is to die for!   Oh, and it was absolutely HYSTERICAL. YAY for watching TV at work ... while working.
"Quantum Leap - Hurricane"
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Talk about a crazy lady. More concerned with killing her competition than saving herself from the hurricane. But the ENDING leap!!
"The Dead Zone - Plague"
Okay, this was just CREEEEEEEPY. Serioulsy. The flashes of all the diseased kids just freaked me out a wee bit TOO much.
Oh, and I've been watching bits of the Olympics. Not much is jumping out at me. Although that trampoline stuff was pretty wicked. DAMN they were jumping high.  _________________ "So what? So plenty!"

While Gwen is not one of my favorite characters in Torchwood (that honor belongs to Jack and Ianto ), I don't dislike/hate her so much that I demand the writers kill her off. I feel the same way about the Gwen-hate as I do about the Martha and Mickey hate- I don't entirely understand where it comes from. Unless, of course, in this case, it's because she was a threat to the Janto relationship up until "Something Borrowed", when she married Rhys (IMO, anyway). But seriously, what person, male, female, or otherwise, wouldn't go ga-ga over Jack? He's handsome, courageous, adventurous, kind, and immortal to boot! HEYYYY! I watched Primeval the other day too! Free stuff on iTunes is always an epic win. About Swingtown and JackDav's character- Yes, it's extremely annoying to end up disliking Bruce so much  . But like I said in another comment, it shows how great an actor Davenport is when, despite how much one is attracted to him, and no matter how hard said person tries to like a character he's playing, they just can't. I agree about Roger and Susan, too  . They do make a very cute couple  . And Janet- yes, I'm curious to see where her character is going to be taken (that's assuming CBS is going to give the show another season, mind you) as well. I didn't like her at first, but as more episodes have been aired, and she has shown little bursts of being less a fuddy-duddy and more independent, she's kind of grown on me  . Yeah, Roger's certainly struggling with his feelings for Susan and his more established commitment to Janet  .
What did you think of Primeval  ? I'm enjoying it, despite the elements it's borrowed from Torchwood (chiefly the "rift(s)" that allow the prehistoric critters to come through) . The CG creatures are quite well done, and the characters are keeping my interest so far, which is encouraging, because with any show like this, it's hard not to put the majority of the plot focus on the whole "humans fighting monsters" thing, while almost completely ignoring the development of the characters. I have to say one thing, though- I really, really want one of those little flying lizard things  ! "Rex" has got to be one of the cutest sci-fi critters ever !
