They're pretty awesome. I finally got around to listening to them a few weeks ago.
That's a good one.

My mother needs to stop putting this on in the car. And singing along. With the windows down.

Noooo. Singing along with the windows down is the best. Embrace it.

Yeah. I was putting birthdays in my planner.. two days ago? And I was putting yours in and started trying to think of things I could give you. It didn't work.
Good point. Parents are embarassing. Just don't let her ruin it for you so you don't like it anymore, k?
Silence, because the freakign computer shut down again. The fan is defective. Go figure.

I'm flattered that you put me in your planner. And... I don't know. Something along the lines of the awesomeness you did last year would be more than fantastic. I enjoyed your stuff more than most of my physical presents.
She won't. I like it too much for that.

That's a silly thing to be flattered over. I put all my friends' birthdays in there. Why should you not be in there just because you're an internet friend? But by all means, feel special.
*tries desperately to remember what she did last year* It'll come to me.
Good.
I KNOW. Gah. John is so perfectly imperfect it's frustrating.

Obviously you have forgotten that you were the only one, out of everyone I know (Internet and otherwise) to remember my birthday last year. No one remembers it (Or cares about it) so it's exciting to me that I'm being added to a planner.

You were in it last year too. Your birth is sort of an important thing, since I kind of wouldn't know you without it.
Right! *lightbulb* And the scary playdoh thing. No. No no no no no. I have to do WAY better than that.
Oh, by the way, I did name the moose puppet Andrew.

I guess that's true. Though some of us *cough* would be happier if their hick mother had just insisted on the boyfriend-of-the-week using protection, therefore eliminating the need for birthdays at all.
Yes! And now I'm going to have to... be awesome in some way for yours.
AWESOME.

Others of us wish the same of themselves, minus the hick. And, to quote John, "I know you might roll your eyes at this, but I'm so glad that you exist."
The stuff you do for presents is always awesome. You don't even have to try. If I wasn't the one getting the awesomness, I'd hate you because it's so easy for you.
I know. Feel special. Er.

I take after George Washington. Not because I have an awful, powdered wig or any desire to be president, but because I cannot tell a lie.
Tis true. All of it. Not just my opinion either. Fact.

You know those moments when you almost tell someone something but then you realize that there's no point because the had to be there and telling them will just make you look stupid? I just had one.
But thank you, George.
