~ I. Whispers ~
by Slickman_G based on a poem by J. R. R. Tolkien
'Through woods and fields without a rest your rushing waters flow,
through sunlit dales you find your way beneath the mountains' snow.
What tidings bear your waters here, o Anduin the Great?
What news you carry of my lord? What whispers of his fate?'
'Sad are the news I bring to you from ancient Amon Hen
for Boromir I bore away upon my shoulders then.
I bear to you his dying words, the warmth of his last breath,
he stumbled but he still stood tall and died a hero's death.'
'O Boromir! I stand and mourn beneath the weeping skies
while Anduin does mirror still the light inside your eyes.'
~ II. Lost ~
by Slickman_G
Will you never come back to the light?
Will you stay far away in the night
while your horn's cry is haunting my dreams?
In it's call rings despair as it screams
Close my eyes it is you that I see
lying there pale like death while I'm free
waters bear you away far from here
in my heart torn apart nameless fear
In a dark valley lost hear my cry
must I lose you and live as you die?
The White Tower turns dark as I mourn
as I cry Gondor's banner lies torn
silver trumpets once clear scream in pain
for the lord of their hope, he lies slain
Will your voice ever torment my mind?
Will I stumble as tears leave me blind?
And I fall, when will I reach the ground?
lie there broken and lost, never found
in this uttermost pain never known
You are dying and I'm left alone...</center>
