Hello all, this is Teh Lamenter here, with yet another thing to post, another poem to while away the time.
Before I put the poem down, I would like to say, that Ive been thinking, and Ive decided that, for the minute, Im leaving writing poetry, and this may be the last poem I post on A-U for some time. Id like to thank everyone for their feedback, hope you enjoy this poem, and feedback again, appreciated.

It was a dark and rainy night,
The storm outside o’ercast,
And then I saw your face so bright
And the storm to my eyes, swift passed.

I saw thee walking astride a grove of trees,
In winter’s cold and nature’s wane,
And where you strode, winters grip flees,
And joy and spring came again.

On the crest of a mountain sheer,
I saw your eyes, your burning brow,
And I saw your face again, beauty without peer,
And I saw the mountain in humility bow.

And at the shore of the iron grey sea,
The water rolled, The west wind blew,
It saw you, and with ancient glee,
The sea withdrew its tide for you.

A grassy glen in warm, blest lands,
The north wind rushed there oft,
And as it saw you outstretch your hands,
A breathy song it bore for thee aloft.

And last I saw thee, blood ran in the sea,
The sun in shame, she shone no more,
And the wind in horror, ran no more free,
And the tide ne’er again lapped upon the shore.

Yet it is my fortune that I am here,
Close by someone about whom I care,
And to my heart while you are near,
For to me all else is but dust and air.

I is in Pirate-y-mood, yes. I has spoken.

Again. :P

Well, I suppose I have lost the love for it somewhat, Like I have reached my peak, and there is nothing left to do. There are other reasons, more personal like, but I don't wish to share them.
I don't know if anything will come to me, if it does, I may return, but as Juba from Gladiator said "I will see you again…but not yet...not yet. "
