It's a big place! Some come in and browse about but make sure you sign the guest book and have your coat taken by our butler and maid. Feel free to ask questions and go to the other parts of the ball (threads!)!

Here are the events schedule, make sure you know it!

*Note: The Snow ball fight will be CONTINUOUS throughout the week. Only the Snowman Building Contest will be officially be held on the 28th.

PD excitedly chatters with Aramel, Keith and Lord Beckett as their carriage rolls up to the grand place where the Yule Ball is to be held.
She is gently helped down by Beckett and she takes his arm and walks down the walkway until they reach the door and it's grandly opened for them. They enter. "oh, it looks lovely, doesn't it, Becky?" she beams and gives her sparkly, white cloak to the butler. Lord Beckett gives her a small smile and nods, "it is very rich, dear. But we appear to be the first ones here."
(hope that's ok (and I hope you don't mind, Ara!)! Sqwee! I can't wait for more people to start arriving!  )

Freya swept through the front doors of the Enterance Hall on the arm of her dashing date, Mr. Darcy. Beaming in gold from head to toe, she contrased nicely with his black suit. She handed her cloak to the waiting butler, who handed it to the maid, who took it to the coat room.
Looking around, Freya noticed the columbs that were lined up on each side of the hall. She also noticed the table set up, on which rested the guest book. Patting Darcy's arm, she let go and went forward to the table. There she picked up a quill pen and wrote [font=Parchment, monospace]Freya Baggins and Mr. Darcy[/font]
(not a very long intro, sorry.)

Another carraige pulled up to the hall. Out steps Murtagh in a fine black suite with silver embroidery. He turns and helps Eruraina out of the carraige.
The two walk arm in arm into the foyer. Murtagh write "Murtagh Morzanson and Eruraina Aniarure" in the guest book while Eruraina hands her cream colored almost see-through cloak to the butler.
"My first Yule Ball! How exciting!" she says, and looks around to see who she could talk to...

Another smaller carriage come up, with blue and black colours and black horses. Out of the carriage stepped Conner Teahan, wearing a nice black tux and dress shoes with a red tie. He quickly turned back and helped him fiance, Turwaithiel Swann, out of the carriage and arm in arm, they walked up into the yule ball, and Turwaithiel bent down to sign there names in the guestbook. She smiled at Conner and kissed him on the cheek. "You look dashing, Conner. Trust me, you will be fine." He smiled at her and kissed her lightly on the lips and said, "So will you, my love."

PD slightly picks up her white and black swirled dress and runs to meet the newcomers with a broad smile. "isn't everything stunning? Wow, I never thought my first Yule Ball would be so... lovely." she waves at Tur. "hey!"
Lord Beckett leaves her for a moment and, in his fancy and scrawling handwriting, signs the guest book: [font=Edwardian Script ITC]Lord and Lady Beckett[/font].

Turwathiel pulled lightly on Conner's arm and lead him to where PD and Beckett where standing. "PD!" She said and rushed over. She grinned and said, "Isn't this lovely?" She asked excitedly. "PD, I don't know if you have meet my fiance, but this is him, Conner Teahan." Conner bowed low to PD and nodded to Beckett.

"Tur!" PD smiled, "aye, it's all very lovely. The staff did an amazing job with the preparations. Of course I wouldn't know any different since I wasn't here last year, but I still think it's wonderful!" PD turned to face Conner. "hello, no, I don't believe I've met you yet. It's a pleasure!" she smiled and turned to look at Beckett, who had just turned back from signing the book. He gave a slight bow of his head toward Conner, "good evening, Mr. Teahan. It's a pleasure to meet you." PD beamed, "this is my husband, Lord Beckett."

Turwaithiel grinned and smiled at Beckett. "I have heard much about you, sir. You two are such a cute couple!" She exclaimed as Conner said, "A pleasure to meet both of you. I have heard so much about everyone, and I finally get to meet them all tonight!"

"thank you!" PD slightly blushed, "you two make a cute couple as well. And I wish you both all the best! Do you know when the big day is?"
Beckett nodded at Tur, "and I you." but as the two women began to talk he turned to Conner, "really? this is your first social gathering? Than you should be warned before hand that sometimes things can get crazy when they all get together." his face remained collected and pleasant, almost the same as before, as he told Conner the "confidential" information.

Brego got out of the cariage a made her way into the entrance hall. As she enter she handed her coat to the maid. Reliving a black dress. She walked to the guestbook and signed Lady Brego

Elenya hopped out her the carriage she had arrived in and went into the hall. She handed her cloak to the maid with a "thank you". She made her way to the table where the guestbook sat, picked up the pen, and signed <i>~Elenya~</i>, followed by a smiley face. Putting down the pen, she went to mingle.

Another small carriage pulled up behind the others and MH (Mrs. Haldir. Which I will address myself as. 'Haldir' will be very overused XP) and Haldir stepped out. After adjusted the collar of his dress coat, he slowly lead his very pregnant wife up the front steps, taking her hand in his and wrapping his other arm around her shoulders.
When they stepped inside, they handed their cloaks over to the butler and signed their names into the guest book, [font=Courier, monospace]Lord and Lady Haldir[/font]. The two gazed at the beautifully decorated room. This was their first Yule Ball as husband and wife.
Haldir adjusted the collar of his dress coat once again. He still can't believe his wife talked him into wearing a fancy outfit to the Yule Ball. He still sometimes thought he looked like a fool after all this time.
"Oh, stop it," MH said pulling his hands away from the collar. "You will stretch it if you keep pulling on it like that."
"How is it that you always talk me into things?" Haldir said grinning.
"That is because I can," MH answered fixing his collar. "There, that's better." She kissed her husband's cheek and linked her arm with his. "Come now, let us go greet the others."
"As you wish, A'maelamin."

Annúniel pulled the reins and the carriage maneuvered into a space directly at the end of the line of carriages. She jumped down, very proud of herself. With only a little instruction she had driven the carriage all the way from the rental place to the ball. Walking past the other carriages, she arrived at the door and knocked. The butler opened the door and Annúniel handed her coat to him. She turned around to see what this place looked like, and saw the guest book. Choosing between several writing implements, she decided on a blue colored pencil and wrote her name; <i>Annúniel</i>. When she had finished, she once again turned around and unconsciously fixed her hair before walking toward the assemblage.

Eruraina the whole time had made her way to the chocolate fountain, and was dipping strawberries in it. After a few chocolate covered strawberries, she walked over to PD and Tur. Murtagh soon followed and came up to stand beside his fiance.
"Turwaithiel, PD! How are you two? Turwaithiel, you've met Murtagh, but I'm not sure if Connar has. Though, I don't believe I'm met him," she turned to PD, "Or Lord Backett yet. Of course, this is Murtagh and I's first formal event together." As she said this she slipped her hand into Murtagh's...

JF came quickly into the room, followed by Norrie.
"Sorry we're a bit late everyone" she gasped. "Had a bit of trouble with the carriage, or should I say the horse" she added looking in Norrington's direction. "He was convinced he could fix the problem" JF said in a whisper "even though he's never had to deal with horses in his life" she said with a smile as Norrington stood there looking uncomfortable.
