Some of us members had advertised and ran the Member awards this year and we have the results to place in the polls, but only Moderators can post in the polling section and the member award section... so I do not know where to post our results...

any help?

I wonder if there would be any way for us to actually set everything up, copy it, and then all a mod would have to do would be post it.

What stage are we at right now? Is it voting time? Or the actual results?

Hey, Eä is (sort of) back in the game if you need me for anything. Sorry I've been absent this week.

As I said I compiled the list of Aranel's, Thain-y's and my own sets of recieved nominations and sent out to you all. Did anyone get Riniel's sets of nominations before she 'left'? I noticed she posted in Your Life about not being able to get on here. But if we have hers we should be all set for the voting if Pandora has added hers too.

If you guys are ready for us to put up the voting, send them to the A-U Moderators account. Here, majority of the mods can get access to them and post them up faster than just letting one mod do it.

In the subject of the pm, put "Member Awards: For Polls".

In the pm, you can write what you'd like each poll to say. Since the members organized this, you can put whatever notes for each poll category.

Make sure you separate each category (thread), it's message and how you want to set up the poll, ie. contestants names, etc. with some sort of divider.

Thain-y dear, you and Pandora are welcome to write out the messages for each poll if you want to. Teh Eä is tired and needs sleep very soon. We might not need much more text than is already written in the description - or what do you think?

How much time do we need for the voting? I'm thinking about two weeks time or about 20 days or so. It should be easier to vote than to nominate but people are really busy with school and RL these days so I think we should have the polls open over a period of two weekends so people have time to get on and vote.

I'll be without Photoshop from October 26th to November 2nd, but beyond that week I should be able to make awards if someone sends me the results, once voting is finished. If it's in that week, I'll be sure to check up here sometime and let you all know I got the results and will get the awards done as soon as I get home.

Well, I'm back.

So who's going to write the short award descriptions and such? 20 days for voting sounds good to me. And holding off the posting of awards until November doesn't seem to be a problem; after all, it's later than it feels. (October already!)

It really is a snail pace getting anything done around here...how do you Mods manage?
