Just wondering what changes you would make if you could. I know I've thought of some before, but I can't remember any off of the top of my head. I'll let you know if I think of one.

I wouldn't. What I can't understand is how angry people were at the fact that Liv Tyler was chosen for that role. Sure, Armageddon wasn't THAT great a movie, but you can't judge an actor/actress off of one bad movie.

I think the cast was very good and I wouldn't change it. At leat I haven't thought of anyone better. I wasn't very fond of Liv Tyler but she has done a great job.

People did get payed for being in the films, if that what you mean.
Karl Urban (Eomer) certainly got a lot of bonus money... somewhere within the region of $400,000...

i thought the casting was excellent. and i'm so glad they switched with whoever played Aragorn in the beginning to Viggo, because he did an awesome job. just one thing though...is it just me, or does it seem like throughout the films and scenes, his accent changes? i dunno, that kind of thing can drive me crazy.
btw, does anyone know who was going to play Aragorn in the first place?

I think most of them fit very well. But, you know, in the books, Faramir was supposed to have raven-colored hair - not blond. That was something I would have changed possibly.

But PJ was searching carefully, because everyone should have another view of how the persons from the book were. And that's quite difficult

No, each one of the cast members played their part perfectly

I don't think I would make any changes to the cast, necessarily. I think all the actors and actresses did extremely well. You have to remember that they act out the part given to them. So if you didn't like Arwen's bigger role, don't blame Liv Tyler. I would make changes to the scripts and the characters themselves, if I could, but I don't think I'd change any of the actors.

I also thought so too, I wonder how the movie would've turned out with different actors...
