Oh but you can use that to your advantage! Cook something they absolutely detest or cook some exotic food that they never had. As for the housework, just "forget" to clean their room then. It's rather amusing how much power you have over them.

i think if guys want us to be in the kitchen all da time, they should give us money. In my house im the one with the job, and the guys stay at home (only coz they're homeschooled, they don't do any house work and never cook) .Kinda annoying, ven if my job is just part time ( as i go to college during the week)

My brother has the same amount of chores as all of us... and there are 3 guys in our youth group who are INCREDIBLE cooks.

Gack. That went around our school for the longest time last year, and I hated it. Guys really don't seem to have any respect for girls at my school, or at least they don't show it. I wouldn't mind making them a sandwich as long as they would do the same.

Not really sure what all they can do... they do dishes from where they're from, though, like once they did a Philipino dish.

Wow, that sounds neat... I've only ever cooked for our family.

My home made spatzle turned out pretty well.

Most of the time stuff goes wrong... like the oven ends up to hot because we have to convert temperatures for most recipes into centigrade...

The worst time was when the crockpot didn't cook fast enough... so we had hard carrots and potatoes in our vegetarian minestrone.

Thank you!

On the topic, I rather enjoy doing housekeeping tasks. I sometimes get in a weird mood and feel like cleaning the whole house, and reorganizing my room. I don't really like to bake, but I like to cook some foods. I'm not very good at it, though. I would probably make a good stay-at-home mother, but I'm not sure if I even want kids, and if I do, i'd like to at least have a part time job.

^ I go on some of those "clean everywhere" things, too... except usually they're right before bed, so I spend 10 minutes speed cleaning my room. Er, picking up all my clothes from the floor.

Yeah, sometimes mine can take awhile to clean too. Sometimes all it needs is a quick touch up, though.

I agree. Cleaning can definitely be fun, especially when you're in the mood for it. Around spring I usually get this random urge to clean the entire house top-to-bottom. It's always a good chance to find things that have been lost... which often happens to me. :P
