Oh, I wish I hadn't seen your post, Harthad! I've got so much to do and now I'll only want to watch those! I'll have to make the watching a reward for doing all those other things EDIT: I watched the prequel now. THAT WAS SAD. I was only going to watch the prequel and then go back to cleaning, but now I just have to watch the other two, too.

LET'S KILL HITLER!!! Spoilers.Awesome. Very cool, but confusing. I don't think anybody saw that Mels was Melody, though it was kind of obvious afterwards. I thought that River/Melody could have acted more 'brainwashed' when the Doctor was dying. . .sad at the end when he's trying to get to the TARDIS. And the Amelia part was funny. "You will be dead in 32 minutes." What I'm wondering is if that was really 32 minutes. . .if Steven Moffat put that in there as a. . .um, I dunno. Maybe he was trying to be funny? I don't know. So now we know how River dies!

I liked the ep a lot, too . Especially the darkly-humorous mood of it :]. At first I thought Mels was just Amy & Rory's friend, but it finally dawned on me she was actually Melody/River when, I think it was the Doctor, said, "Mels, short for Melody." After that, my reaction was, "Oh my god, no way =D!" Quote: I thought that River/Melody could have acted more 'brainwashed' when the Doctor was dying. . .sad at the end when he's trying to get to the TARDIS. You mean less :]? I found it sad, too, but not unexpected. After being brainwashed for years into believing the Doctor was evil, dangerous, an enemy, etc., I would have expected River to react exactly that way. That wasn't the River we've come to know, remember . That was definitely one of the most darkly-humorous parts of the ep . Quote: What I'm wondering is if that was really 32 minutes. . .if Steven Moffat put that in there as a. . .um, I dunno. Maybe he was trying to be funny? I don't know. I'm not sure what you mean by that. Unless you're posing the suspicion that it will become significant later on, which it very well might . *Thinks for a minute* Or are you implying that he was poking fun at Ten's overly-long goodbye in "The End Of Time" ( I liked it, personally, but that's just me :]. *Shrugs*)? That's not how River dies, actually . Did you see the first four seasons of NuWho before these most recent two, or was S5 your first experience with it? If it was, I won't say anymore. If not, I'm guessing you've forgotten the storyline where we actually did see River's death, or at least what caused it :].

No, I meant that BECAUSE she gave her remaining regenerations to the Doctor, she dies at the Library. So now we know that she CAN die, and does. And the 32 minutes. . .if the length of the episode after that scene was 32 minutes. That's what I was wondering. And I meant that it was sad when the Doctor was trying to get to the TARDIS. But I revise my earlier statement, I just watched a Confidential and now I think that she was brainwashed just enough. Another funny bit: When the Doctor's dying, and River's just sitting in that chair. Watching. I mean, come on!

Ah, got it. Sorry . Yes, I was glad the reason River, being part Timelord, didn't just regenerate after sacrificing herself in the Library was explained, too. I'm glad Moffat is starting to give us some answers now :]. Got it :]. Man, I'm misreading what you wrote left & right here, jeeze ! I don't know what's wrong with me today . Anyway. It was . *Nods* Yeah? How about that :]. I agree . Any more might have been too much, any less might have been too little. I know . It shouldn't have been amusing, as the Doctor was dying and all, but it kind of was :}. My only thought during that whole time was, "Oh, River ." The bit I found most amusing, though, was the reaction of Amy, the Doctor, and Rory as Mels was barreling toward toward them in the car while they were standing in the crop circle they'd made. The wide-eyed, "Oh, s**t!" looks on their faces and the way they screamed was extremely campy, but I still thought it was absolutely hilarious !

Spoilers!Well, I just saw Night Terrors. I think that if I had watched it late at night, then I probably would have been more freaked out. Doll houses! How much more scary can it get?! The fridge scene was great, with the Doctor saying his spheel and all. And the ending. . .the ending was great. And creepy. The whole episode was creepy!!

I know, i hope it gets better. But then i think Dr Who is always a bit like that - some episodes are amazeing, some are just not that scarey.

Well, it was the writer's choice, you know! I think they wanted a sentimental episode, just to even things out. And it also depends on your point of view: fizzling out, or sentimental. Personally, I'm for the sentimental. At the beginning when they're talking to the neighbors, that was funny!

That was good. I though that most of the episode was great, but that it wasn't fully explained and that i wanted to be really scared like with the angels.

Quote: es, I was glad the reason River, being part Timelord, didn't just regenerate after sacrificing herself in the Library was explained, too. Well, I mean, we knew that the Doctor would have died in the Library too had he been the one to sacrifice himself. It had been said in the episode that he wouldn't have been able to regenerate. Quote: That was good. I though that most of the episode was great, but that it wasn't fully explained and that i wanted to be really scared like with the angels. By the end of the episode I still hadn't quite figured out what the kid was, but I didn't want to rewatch to find out. It freaked me out. Small children can be terrifying, and human-sized dolls that laugh like demented children and then turn you into one of them by touching you is just freaky. No no no. I don't want to see that episode again. It's funny you mention the angels though. I was never scared of the angels. I thought they were fascinating. The idea that they just "killed" you by sending you into the past? They got a little scarier in Time of Angels through the whole "image of an angel becomes an angel" but I still find them more interesting than scary. They wouldn't rank too high on my list of creepy monsters. The creepy ones are the ones that can manipulate and change you, not the ones that kill you. I almost cried at The Girl Who Waited! I was very close. But I was watching with a group of people so I didn't exactly want to let go. But man....Rory! And Amy! So precious! Rory! So many feeeeelings!

Ohhh yeah, I almost cried. I was so close! But then it ended. Lol. Overall, very good. Amy! Karen Gillan was brilliant. I can't wait for the next episode!! I read an interview where they said that the author got inspired by Greek mythology, so that's bound to be cool. And a minotaur? Sweet! And did anyone else hear that the last episode was going to be called The Wedding of River Song. . . . .? :O
