Yes, I read it a few years ago. I think I was 15; I finished it a few days before going to New Orleans to meet my uncle, aunt, and cousins who were there on a business trip. I remember that vividly because I love it so much I was trying desperately to convince my cousins they MUST read it, and then TRIED to read the prologue in Old English and couldn't pronounce things correctly.
It's another book that I ought to re-read *stares at list of books I must read and re-read* in this schoolyear sometime. I know of someone on A-U who recently DID read it though, and I'll tell her about this thread and try to drag her over to it.
About what I liked, I actually enjoyed reading about the travelers all coming together more than their actual individual tales. I know, seems weird, but the way Chaucer sets things up is great!
