OK, this one is........interesting. I was in one of those moods, so i started writing a story......it was gonna be very detailed & everything. but as I started, I realized I could make it into a poem. So, this is what I ended up with.

She stared out the window, as the sky opened up,
and poured with rain.
She watched as it slid down the glass,
and mirrored her own tears on her cheeks.
She wished she were the rain, and could fall down out of the sky,
hit the window,
and fade into the night.
But she could not.
She had tried to sleep,
but sleep would not come.
For every time she closed her eyes,
she saw his face.
It flashed before her again and again,
taunting her,
calling her names.
Daring her to fall in love.

ya, imagery is something that I always try to use a lot of.....In writing songs, poems, stories, or whatever. I like for you to be able to imagine & picture what's going on.

ya, I think so, too. 1 of the reasons i luv Tolkien so much!! hehe He's always very descriptive. My Mom says that that bores her. lol But it fascinates me, b/c I think, wow, u know he came up w/ all of this on his own!! That's pretty cool. 8)
