Aww... I'm getting all nostalgic at seeing the list. I really hope you can contact them and make them come back here - if only for a day. It would be great to hear what and how they're doing.

I'm afraid I can't help out with those missing except for Elanor.. she's around. She replied to me concerning the MA's when I PM'ed the mod accound. So perhaps all it takes is a mod to post an invite in the mod forum.

And speaking of other mods, how about tin who left in spring? And there is ethelfleda, although I'm not sure she actually left, she might just be busy with school.

To be honest, Ivy, I was just thinking of oldies off the top of my head. It may be a lot easier just to send an email out to everyone, especially since we may not be able to contact a few people via other sources. I think it'd be a lot easier to do things that way.

What do the rest of you think? And if we do it, should I write up the invite to be sent out?

Saira's taking a break from the internet as a whole, I think. Next time I get a hold of her, I'll tell her about the reunion we're planning and maybe get her to come back and say hi. I think it's mostly just life and school has her too busy to do much of anything else.

Larael - I think sending out a mass-email would be great, especially since people would be generally more inclined to check an email from good-old Arwen-Undomiel instead of us sending out a mass web of chain mail invites.

I think a mass AU invite thingy would be a good idea as well. If you wanted to write up the invite, Larael, that would be great

Okay then, the invitation has been sent to Ivy for approval, and she should be sending them out in due time. I just wanted to let all of you know that I've changed the dates of the actual event to October 4-5 instead of Sept 25-26 to give everyone more time to plan there weekend, etc.

Thanks for staying so interested! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this will be a hit.

A side note: For those unaware, the A-U chatroom IS registration required but it's easy to get registered and log in. It's pretty basic.

Is this intended to be a chatroom only event?
Because most of the old and current forum members are.. well, forum members, so shouldn't we have a thread here at the forum too?
I'm thinking a chat thread in Misc. Randomness or Your Life would be great.
1) Because we are forum members (sorry, for being so redundant. ) so it would be nice to celebrate here too.
2) So people who can't attend all the time (the time zone issue, you know) can still catch up on old friends and read back on them and see who were there!

I would appreciate it since I'm on European time and most of you guys overseas get on here when I'm usually in bed!
