Melda's shout was very, very high pitched. She shivered, 'Whatcha do that for?!' and was torn between trying not to shiver, laugh, or let her teeth chatter.

She nearly jumped when her cousin Leggy banged on the door, but couldn't help but giggle a little when he dumped water on Melda.

Legsy shrieked as the ice-cold water shooting from the hose hit him. After seeing Meldy turn off the hose, Legolas gave an audible sigh of relief, but before he could open his mouth to say anything, he started to shiver uncontrablly, and chattered his teeth loudly.
