Melda was glad she was on the floor, she was laughing so much she'dve fallen over. Finally, she took pity on her brother and handed over the blanket.

Legolas still shivering uncontrablly, took the blanket from his sister, and after wrapping himself up tight with the blanket, trying to get warm again, reached over, and after hugging Meldy said,"Me too!"

Aranel flew through the front doors and almost toppled over from sheer clumsiness. "I'm back!" she shouted, listening to her voice echoing. Itachi stood behind her, still in the open doorway, replaying her moment of lack of gracefulness in his head.

Itachi's eyebrow quickly rose up at his daughter's dishevelled and wet appearance. Aranel looked at her and said, "Not you too. Seems like I have a batch of mischief makers in my family." She grinned and hugged the sopping Melda. She whispered, "You have to tell me all about it. I have to get revenge on your father." Then she winked and proceeded to drag her along with her through the house. Itachi only followed, suspicious of the silent exchange.

'Mischeifmakers? Yes, that about covers it.' She waved at her father's face and what her mother said. Tyhen, she whispered, 'I have a hose. Somewhere...'

Boromir walked down the stairs and saw his father-in-law looking grumpy by the front door. He smiled and turned his head, seeing Goldleaf hovering in the hallway.
"Looks like it's just us three," Goldleaf said. "Are you alright, father?"

Itachi looked at his daughter and son-in-law and attempted a grin but it came out more as a grimace. "I have a sneaking idea that your mother is up to something with your sister," was the curt reply.

"They're just annoyed about the trick you and the others pulled on us," Goldleaf said as Boromir joined her next to her father. "Shall we go and sit down? We could play dominoes."
"A heart-stopping idea," Boromir said, mock-gravely. "Come on, Itachi, cheer up. Life's not all gloom for you."

Boromir looked sideways at his wife and raised an eyebrow. Goldleaf grinned. She was used to her father's sulky demeanor. "The living room?" she suggested. "The others seem to be having fun, why don't I put on a CD and make some tea or something?"

Goldleaf and Boromir followed Itachi into the living room. "Enya," Goldleaf replied. "She has such a beautiful voice." She walked over to the stereo and selected the album "Shepherd Moons". She slotted it into the player and ethereal music played into the room. Goldleaf smiled and sat on the couch.
