Anakin looked out the window and his eyes widened. "DAD!" He darted out the door as fast he could.

Itachi looked on in shock as Legolas collapsed unto him and had only managed to catch him in time. Aranel rushed up to them in horror, and bent over her son. Putting a hand to his forhead, she looked worriedly at her husband and said, "He's got a high fever. I think we should put him to lie down." Itachi nodded grimly and heaved his son up and unto a chaise on the veranda.

Aranel kneeled beside him. "Someone get me a bowl of water and a cloth." Itachi went off to do as she said and returned with the items. Aranel wet the cloth and wrung out the excess water, before placing it upon Legolas' forehead. "I hope it's nothing too serious," she murmered.

Also worried, Nia rushed out after Anakin, muttering, "Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear, oh dear, oh dear."

Karl, who had only just finished going to the washroom, looked up in time to see his wife zoom outside and hurried after her.

As soon as his gaze landed on Legolas, he turned to Aranel, 'Will he be alright Aranel?" Nia murmured her agreement, putting her hand on Anakin's shoulder, "Yes...Will he be alright? I'm worried, Anakin's worried."

Lumy walked up to the house to her family, the suitcases still in her hands, several bags hanging around her shoulder. She hadn't seen any one of them in a long time because of her travellings around the world and she had changed her appearance so many times, she even wondered if they would recognize her again. Suddenly, she stopped. She immediately saw something was wrong. Something had happened. Some of her family members were standing around outside, worry in their faces. She went up to them and saw Leggy. He had changed through the years, but she still knew him. "What..." she quickly stopped and continued whispering. "What...happened to him?"

Neri rushed out after Nia, concernedly looking down at Legsy. "Not good..." she whispered to herself. "Do you need me to do something, Nellie?" she asked. Just then, she noticed that someone new had come up. "Hello... we're having some difficulties at the moment here, but welcome."

Aranel looked at them all gratefully and replied, "I think it's best if we let him rest for now. Hopefully, he'll be better later and will wake up." She stood up and turned to Lumy. "I'm sorry you had to come at a time like this. But welcome!" She smiled and felt Itachi's hand on her shoulder. "Why don't you girls go inside? I'll get Legolas upstairs to rest and I'll watch over him." She nodded, a look of relief on her face , then turned to the others. "Shall we?"

Neri nodded. "I think that would be best. Poor dear Legsy needs some breathing room, and some quiet. Cm'on guys!" She walked briskly back through the door of the house, waiting for the others to follow.

Legsy groaning and moaning as he slowly was waking. He felt silk covers underneath his slender fingers, "Mmmm....mmmm...mom.....dad......mmmmm...Where..am..I? I heard....voices....mhmmhmm...I don't feel well."
Ever so slowly his eyes opened, glanced around the room..and then his eyes grew wide with horror as he started to cough up blood.

Nia smiled wearily at Lumy, murmured a hi, hesitating to follow cousin Neri, freezing when Leggy awoke and started coughing.

Anakin crouched beside his father, biting his lip. "Don't you dare die on me Dad, don't you dare..." He fought back tears and clutched Legolas' hand.

Legolas, not coughing anymore, shivered violently. The elf prince moaned softly and opened his eyes, attempting to work the blurry world into focus. A hand rested on his forehead to check the state of his fever. "Mom? Is...that you?" He wanted to sit up, but he felt too dizzy and ill to attempt it. “I do not...feel well,” he murmured softly, letting his hot forehead fall to rest against the cool, rough wood of the back of the bedframe. Legsy'breathing was ragged and he closed his eyes letting his head rest in his hands again. His pulse was pounding between his temples in a very painful way. He could tell his body was failing, not matter what he tried to pretend for his worried family.

The prince’s body was tense, scared and spasming. Legolas’ crystal blue eyes were wide with the desperate struggle for oxygen and the fear only made his aching lungs and airways tenser. This had been happening more and more frequently as the illness progressed, but this was the first time it had actually stopped his breathing altogether.
