Ronin laughed and rolled his eyes as a the plate was taken away from him, "Sure, go on. I'll go and get another." He turned round and went back for another plate.

Ronin blinked and looked after the man and took a seat from across his sister, "Success, dear sister. We did well if I do say so myself."

"You had it easy, Ronin. You should have seen him. Never a sorrier looking person," she shook her head and took a bite of a strawberry. "mm...I love these."

"Twas the point of my giving them to you," Ronin remarked with a grin. "Why ever did you decide to sleep on a bench of all places? You could have caught your death, at least you could have been by the fire," he chastised

"Look who is the worrier now," she teased. "I slept there so Rose could get a decent bit of rest. Poor dear looked like she would drop."

Ronin rolled his eyes, "Fine we are even now."

Lilith chuckled and looked over towards the breakfast table where Haven had disappeared to.

Haven purposefully sat next to Lilith as he returned, setting down his well-laden (though not so much as Ronin's) plate and his mug of coffee, the black bitter liquid nearly spilling over the edge of the mug. "I swear, you'd think we were feeding a pack of wolverines," he muttered between bites.

His eyes noted Keith's presence, and although he didn't make a fuss or glare at him, he didn't acknowledge him either. He seemed simply focused on coldly ignoring him in the back of his mind, which was almost more unnerving then had he caused a conflict.

"Anyone seem Waverly this morning?" he asked indirectly, glancing around.

She smiled unconscienously as Haven took a seat next to her.

Lilith nodded and took a bite of her eggs before responding. "Yes, but the way you all eat I would say we almost could use more food," she replied in a calm manner that barely betrayed the humor behind her words.

Ronin grinned, a new plate in hand since his had been absconded with, "Well, it is not as if we sit around and do nothing, Lilith. It all is worked off."

"I'm not so sure about yours, brother," she said with a smirk. "I don't recall you doing much of anything."

Ronin laughed, "You must have bumped your head too hard, sister."

He shook his head in response to the last question and glanced at Keith as he was the most likely to have seen the girl.

Marran was about to step forward to approch the leader, when her stomach growled, which she was sure every one had heard, she had not eaten since the night before her walk.

Lilith looked up at the girl and gave a kind smile and pushed her plate over to her.

"Here you are. I'm done and I don't think you would find anything over there anyway. Ronin seems to have claimed two plates for himself," she said with a laugh. In a quieter voice she nudged Haven and said, "I think you are wanted Master Maverick."

Ronin laughed at his sister's ribbing. It was ongoing between the two siblings and often it was the only thing that kept him going. The two were used to happiness and there was never enough in the Shadin.

Keith took another bite from his toast as he was still chuckling at Ronin. Breakfast did refresh him alot although it was less luxious as it had been before. And it would become even more thrifty in the future as the food supplies were carefully controlled by the King's men. But enjoying the sanwich anyway, Keith looked around, looking for Waverly.
When he turned around to scan the room he suddenly, and unexpectedly, stood eye in eye with Maverick.
He slowly chewed away last of his toast, his gaze piercing that of the leader yet remained silent.

His question left hanging, Haven glanced up as Lilith nudged him, smiling. His smile faded instantly at the sight of Marran, who was supposed to be guarded, standing there so clearly unguarded. He slammed down his fork, rising to his feet in clear annoyance. "Hang it all, Trystan!"

Marran blushed as she relaised she had been caught. "Sir. I know you don't belive me. But I will offer this. Let me lead you to through the path I spoke of, and if I lie, you may keep me as a slave, or kill me."

The woman jumped slightly apparently shocked by the outburst., "I told Trystan not to be so hard on the woman, Master Maverick. They will not be going anywhere. Especially her, her ankle will not allow much movement. Now sit, please," she requested calmly despite her nervousness.

Ronin eyed the man warily, the outburst was surprising, but the leader of the Shadin was notorious for his temper. Since last night he was uncertain about Lilith being too close when he lost control.

Haven hardly found it pleasant to be told what to do. He would've snapped at Lilith's mothering it hadn't been for... Well, it was Lilith. Besides, Ronin was right there, and Haven wasn't that stupid. Usually.

"Last I checked," he said flatly. "My orders came before yours. He disobeyed me." He turned his attention to Marran.
"You're lucky I don't kill you right now, traitor. I have no reason to believe you. However..." His temper assuaged a bit and he sat back down slowly. "Tell me about this path of yours." His eyes scanned her critically.
