Nia's hand travelled to her cousin's cheek, "Leggy....we hear ya..." Her hand then travelled to his pulse and she took it away in shock.

She turned around calling for Nellers and Itachi, "Nellers!!! Itachi!!! Come quick!! His pulse is failing!!!"

Aranel heard Nienna call out for her from the bedroom and rushed in. "What's wrong?" shae asked and looked at their pale faces. She turned to Legolas lying on the bed and the blood drained from her face. She flew to his side and gripped his hand, feeling his failing pulse. The tears threatened to overflow and she whispered softly, "Don't leave us Leggy. You have to be strong."

Having heard the shout from the kitchen, Itachi dropped the bottle of medicine and quickly hurried to his son's room. He could feel the tense atmosphere and dreaded what awaited him. He stood by the door and watched in horror as his wife knelt by the bed, grief stricken. For the first time in years, Itachi didn't know what to do.

Nia plopped down on the bed at Leggy's feet to give Nellers space, "I don't know what's wrong. It seemed like he had a fever and now it's gotten worse. Can I do anything to help?"

She looked up at Itachi desperately, half rubbing Anakin's shoulder comfortingly, half begging Itachi to let her help.

Leggy, still gasping for air to come back into his starving lungs, heard is name being called slowely opened his eyes to see the blurry forms of Nia, Itachi, and Aranel leaning over him. Taking his mother's & father's hands asked,"Am...I....dying?" After giving their hands a squeeze, he turned and started choking...his lips turning slightly blue.
