Keith groaned in response, partly because he couldn't stand Lilith's speech and because the pain was almost more than he could take as she mercilessly stitched his wound. He nodded silently at her remarks and thanked her dutiful after she was done. Although he knew that he ought to be grateful, he actually didn't. After the long time he'd spent with the Shadin he still was completely used to the company and its social control. Before that time he'd spent long times alone, with only himself to take care of himself. Somehow he missed that as he knew that he would be fine either way: with or without the care of Lilith. Although the company of friends probably made him a better person he missed the independance..
He woke from his thoughts by Waverly's words. "I will try" he answered her plea, but he was unsure whether to keep his word. "Well mate.. " he smiled to Ronin "shall we call it a draw?"

Waverly shot Ronin a protective look that clearly said, "You'd better."

Rubin was looking down, brushing her fingers against her dress. With another heavy sigh, she followed Trystan to where the kitchen was.
"I have a name, you know..." she had been saying when she heard a cry of pain followed by more shouting. The girl jumped, obviously shaken. "What was that?" She whispered. Not waiting for an answer, she turned to walk toward the noise...

Ronin laughed at the comment and patted his friend's shoulder, "I shall do so, but only ta save your pride, lad." He held out his hand to help the man off the ground, it didn't look like he would be getting up by himself.
Lilith rolled her eyes, she knew Keith disliked her worrying, perhaps even more so than anyone else in the group. Feeling that her work was done, she withdrew from the group and made her way back inside to finish the rest of her chores. She still had to wait for the rest of the laundry to dry and tidy a few of the rooms. Her mouth turned into a frown as she thought of cleaning, it was not her favorite thing in the world, but someone had to do it...might as well be her.

(sorry! I've been lagging in rps! Been busy!)
Sojourner wrote: He indicated the castle town that surrounded the castle. "We're not alone, you know. There are many within the city walls that support us... So, my plan is this..." His voice lowered quietly. "We find a few homes that will take in our men. Create an 'underground' system within the citadel itself, right under the king's nose."
His fingers brushed over the forest's perimeters on the map. "We'll settle in for a bit, take stock of our situation... Meanwhile, while the king sends his soldiers out looking for us in the forest..." He raised a dark brow and grinned slightly, "We'll be practically at his doorstep, ready to take the castle by siege."
Rose listened intently to Haven's story, her mind going a million miles per hour. She swollowed heavily, feeling a lump rise in her throat. Move into the city, where it was crowded, tons of people, and not that much persional space. The redhead wasn't used to that way of life.
"Then... we'd have to move in slowely, because I'm sure it'd be pretty noticable for the amount of people we have to move into the city all at once, don't you think?"

"Not necessarily..." Haven said in his undertone. "The city walls are guarded, no one gets in unchecked... However... The guards are a bit lazy when it comes to checking merchants. It's a hassle for them to go through the merchants wares, and it usually doesn't turn out well. No one likes to stand around and be hassled, and the city's people need supplies and can't risk having their suppliers leave or angrily up their prices out of spite. So, if a big cart comes through... the guards won't likely check it..."
He gave a slight smile of satisfaction at this and added, "Besides, I'd only be bringing the soldiers into the city, which lessens the number considerably."
..........
"I couldn't much care less what it is," Trystan retorted as Rubin stated the obvious fact. For the first time since they'd crossed paths, his tone had turned downright unfriendly.
The shout was heard and before he knew it, she'd taken off. "Hoy!" he called to her, running in the direction she'd disappeared. "You can't jist g'off like that!"

Keith tried to smile at Ronin's reply and his friendly gesture of helping him up, but failed miserably. Although the day had started out well, Keith's mood was now clouded. He had to balance his complete weight on one leg in order not to black out of the pain which his fall and Lilith's needlework had caused. Perhaps Keith looked as white as a sheet compared to that morning, no complaint of what he was feeling crossed his lips. "Well shall we go inside then?" he asked trying to change the subject. "I think that if your sister will see me another minute outside with a sword, she'll seriously kill me." This time he managed to give a bitter laugh as he sheated his sword. For a moment he peeked at Waverly but then made his way inside.
As Keith entered the hall he couldn't help but notice Tomos, Rose and Haven whispering together with the three of them. Curiously Keith approached them, trying hard, but without succes not to limp.
"So.." he said in a casual tone "What's the plan here, Haven?"

(( Haha, um... you said Trystan instead of Keith... ))
Haven looked up suddenly at the sound of Keith's voice, his stern expression furrowing its way back onto his handsome face. He hesitated a moment, as though weighing his pros and cons... If he refused Keith's questions, his followers may turn against this plan... He decided that, though he would've sooner disposed of the man than entertain his enquiry, he must say something.
"Relocation," he said bluntly. "Possibly very soon."
There. That was something.

[ Woops that's because I have a charrie in another RPG who's called Tristan. But I've no idea why I typed that down ]
"Understandable.. " Keith responded with a slight smile. "And inevitable of course. The struggle of last night will not remain unnoticed. Where shall we go?" A second question. He knew he was testing Haven's temper yet he was eager for information.

Ronin followed behind his friend watching him closely in case he should fall. The large man was momentarily surprised at seeing everyone in the main room, something was important and he was missing out. Glancing about he caught sight of his sister, sitting on the bar top, a large pile of dried laundry next to her, looking slightly put out. He grinned and lumbered over to her.
"Bad news?" He questioned automatically, taking a seat on the stool near her.
She glanced over at him, "Not entirely. We are making a move," she answered primly.
"Na' fond of the location?" He guessed.
"No. Haven's moving us or you rather, to the city. Did we not already have this plan in a different form?" She questioned at a whisper.
"Wait, wha' do you mean me? Oh...I see the girls are staying another place. That's what has you so riled, isn' it?" He continued in the conspiratorial tone.
Lilith glared. "Obviously," she finished coolly.
It then dawned on Ronin that his sister must have been sitting there for quite a while -terrible eavesdropper that she was.
"'Ow long 'ave ya been sitting there, sister?" He questioned jokingly.
"Long enough to hear all of this. Honestly Ronin, are ya daft?" She questioned, failing to hear her own accent that occasionally leaked out when she became annoyed with her brother. Almost as if she felt she needed to speak like him for the man to understand her.

Haven glanced around only to find that the hall had suddenly become dotted with occupants, all whom seemed to be conveniently 'doing something' in the general area. Curious, curious... He sighed through his nose, pinched with annoyance. All pretense of secrecy gone, he submitted to repeating his plan of forming an 'underground' to Keith... and all who might 'happen to catch' his words.

Ronin listened carefully to the full plan and nodded, all in all it seemed rather far fetched, but it was not impossible. He looked over at Lilith who still looked unhappy with the decision, he could tell she was worrying over who would take care of the group. And if she and Waverly had it their way they would be along if not for different reasons. He frowned at the thought of those two rallying together a plan.
Finally the man decided to voice the question that was on his sister's mind, "Where will the rest o' the group stay, Haven?"

"I haven't given it a lot of thought, yet," he admitted, his blue eyes glimmering over the map. He indicated the waves of ink that indicated mountains to the north. "There is an ancient safeguard here at the foot of the mountains. It was used in the latter days, during the last great war. Perhaps... it may still be of use.... I'm not sure of it's conditions..."
Waverly stood leaning in the doorframe, quiet, though clearly displeased by the look on her face. She despised the very idea of not only being left behind, but sent away.

Rubin stopped short in her tracks, face flushed. She leaned against the wall, crossing her arms, and scowling back at Trystan. "Sorry," she practically hissed at him. "I forgot I was a prisoner." She looked away, her eyes burning into the ground. In only a few short days, everything she had known had changed. Her brother and the man she loved were gone, and they weren't coming back. Her cousin--and one of the only women she could call a true friend--was considering joining this group of thieves. Rubin swallowed, forcing herself not to cry. From the corner of her eyes, she shot a glare at Trystan, as if this entire ordeal were his fault, before looking back to 'study' the rather dull looking floor.

Ronin looked at Lilith uneasily as she hopped down from her perch on the counter. This would be an arguement, not just between she and leader of the Shadin but between the siblings as well. Truthfully he felt safer with Lilith in the mountains, but knowing her nature she would vehemently oppose such a situation where she felt useless. He also worried for her health she would doubtless worry too much if they were parted.
Lilith rallied her courage for what would surely be the start of an arguement. Her chin jutted out defiantly and her brown eyes locked onto Haven's form though avoiding his own look. She would surely loose confidence under that sharp gaze.
"No, I will not stand for being put on a shelf and be useless to this cause. Nor will others I am sure," she stated clearly. It was all she could manage right then.

Trystan looked annoyed now, all pretense of friendliness fading. "Oh stop your sulking," he said to her, glaring. "I've no cause to be nice to you anyways, so stop testing my generosity."
........
Waverly shifted from her place in the doorway and stood by Lilith's side with a nod of agreement. "She's right, Haven. There are many who will not be so easily left to sit idly in the corner while you and your men go off in search of freedom. This is our cause as much as it is yours, and we want to support it. You can't send us away." With a quiet defiance, she added, "And you won't."
Haven's brows knitted. "We've been through this, Waverly..." His tone was gentle, but with a heavy undertone of annoyance. "You know were I stand."
"I'm not a child!" She hadn't meant to shout it, but his patronizing tone pushed her to it. "You can't keep pushing me away while you go off and play war, Haven!"
Anger flushed his face at this he growled back, "That's enough!" His words were punctuated by the sound of his fist slamming into the table top.
