"I do not believe we have been introduced" said The Horseman as he walked over to Lord and Lady Death.
"I am The Headless Horseman as people seem to know me by, although really my name is Algernon. At your service madam" as he bowed over Lady Death's hand.
Turning back to Tur, The Horseman being the generally good natured chappie that he was, smiled and said "apology accepted. No, no I must correct you on that point. Runs in the family actually all this headlessness. Never had anything to do with heads being knocked off and all that Tommy rot. My great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great uncle thought it sounded better to the ladies. A rogue he was if I ever I saw one. Still" he added "at least he found someone in the end" he concluded wistfully.

"Ooooh." Tur said, everything clicking into place. "Alright, then. That explains everythng." he said, crossing off 'meet Headless Horseman' from his mental 'things I never want to do while I'm in my first hroa' list. "I've got to get a better job." he muttered under his beath, scratching something out in his journal.

"A pleasure to finally make your aquaintance, Algemon," Lady Death replied with a slight curtsy. "She waited til Turwaithion and Algemon had finished speaking before continuing. "Allow me to introduce you to my husband, Lord Death."
At hearing his name mentioned Lord Death bowed in greeting but remained silent and watchful.

Tar, being trampled by cats and bubbles and people who didn't even notice she was there, stood up with a sigh. She went to the snack table, and looked hesitantly at the food there. With an innocent look on her face, she chucked a baby carrot at Nienna.

After the coach dropped her off PD raced through the dimly lit yard and into the mansion, panting as she entered. It was spooky out there... the perfect atmosphere for a good party like this. She straightened her gown quickly and adjusted her mask, putting on a smile. "Hello," she said generally to the crowd while giving a wave of her hand. Some of the people she recognized... some she didn't.

[that's alright, I just thought I'd better tell you know before we go 77 pages incorrectly]
"I am not entirely sure m'lady" replied The Horseman. "I know a something called a pinata is involved... I have a strange feeling that could bode ill due to certain happenings last year... and the house is open for the trick or treaters of the neighbourhood" he shuddered with these words. Children made him want to run and scream.

Glancing to her left Lady Death spotted PD from across the hall and waved at her.

PD only nodded and smiled warily at The Horseman. Now who is this? she thought to herself. She pondered it over for a moment before moving away to see if there was anyone around who she really knew. She leaned against the wall and took some time to take in the house and other people, humming a tune as she did so. Out of the corner of her eye she spotted someone waving at her. She turned and waved back, offering a small smile as well.

Tar whistled conspicuously until Nienna had looked away from her, and then pretty much cracked up, earning herself several strange looks.
"I am so immature. I deserve a part in Scream. Man, I don't care how stupid people say that movie was, I cracked up. I mean, come on, it's a horror movie, making FUN of people in horror movies. How much better does it get than that?"

TT road up the mansion uneasily. The moonlight cast an erie light on the courtyard... and she wasn't exactly thrilled about being alone in the dark. "I should have taken a coach", she muttered. Dismounting, and steping inside the mansion, TT was surprised to see so many people. Was she really that late?
