I've found that picking through the posts isn't too hard. Once one thing [such as the broken door, windows, etc.] have been mentioned everyone seems to pick up on it and you only need to remember it once. I never skip over Kit's or JF's posts though. I have a feeling you two are in on something.

... Actually, I read everyone's posts.... which is probably why it takes me 10 decades and three years to get through two pages.

Not many people can say they have been squiggle hugged by a Headless Horseman but you are the recipient of such an honour.

I'm just a fast reader when it comes the internet, I can skim through things and still take it all in. Although sometime I do mess up and I have to go back. It would be a shame not to try a read a little of everyone's posts although sometimes it can't be helped if you are busy.

Both of you have imaginative writing and wonderful characters. I only wish I had been that creative, JF. Ah well, it's nice having you there to keep things moving. I'm afraid things would become stagnant without you.

I miss the first day and already I am so behind, I had school at 7:30 and then work after school and didn't get home until... now at 11:00 pm... great I have a lot of catching up to do ><

If anybody absolutely wants a crash course in what happened when they have been away, then PM me and I'll do my best to fill you in as best you can.
As you all know I have no life, I spend an unhealthy amount of time on AU, and with the Hallowfest I'm planning to learn to sleep with my eyes open so I can still read....
You won't get the spirit of the Hallowfest with my crash course, but I can tell you who arrived in what style (in case any clues mention a particular era for example) and who mentioned what etc.
And with that, I think I need a hug because I'm feeling a bit gloomy at the moment with everything.

I don't really have much input, just to agree with pretty much everything JF has said... skimming is the best route, things that are out of the ordinary, or generally important are generally repeated.
Also, I have a question. What exactly are we looking for in hints? I mean like unusual stuff... dates... people doing weird things? Because there is an awful lot of that going on, and it's a bit confusing which is clues and which is just nonsense. _________________ <center>

You're much too kind, JF. I had to find some bloke who could run around in black and not be Snape. I suppose I succeeded.
I can see already that I'm going to have a hard time with these clues. It's impossible to know who's in on something and who's just being silly...

JF, you're welcome to post summaries up in this thread, it's pretty much open for anyone. And the more people in on the clues, the more perspectives, better guesses at the killer.

It keeps in with the misunderstood villains that usually dress in black theme, but more discreetly than usual. 
If I also include conversations and how people arrived etc, it might make it a little bit more difficult to spot any possible hints or clues, but at the same time, everything is there in a nutshell for people to read and think about.
