Taur came into the study from the garden terrace where she had been watching the sunrise.
"Are you exploring?" she asked everyone. "This is such a large, creepy house. It makes me wonder if there are any secret passages." She tapped on the walls playfully.

"Candles are always good," Bubbles nodded. She pulled some out of her handy-dandy pack and waved her hand over the top. The candles lit without struggle and the flames danced merrily as shadows against the walls. "You seem to know your way around better than we do, Horseman, so I'll follow your lead. I just hope we don't get lost! Who knows what's lurking around in this mansion?" she shuddered.

Fragile heard Taur's comment echoing behind her as she walked in the direction of the study. "Secret passageways... that would be lovely. So eerie..." she murmured.

"Thanks for the candles," she said, turning to Bubbles with a smile. "I love candles. May I carry one?"

Lady Death spotted Taur who had just entered the room. She left Death's side [He proceeded outside onto the terrace.] to meet Taur. "I don't think we've met," she said with smile, "I'm Lady Death."

"Wouldn't it be neat?" Taur replied. "There's usually supposed to be one in the study, isn't there? Behind a bookcase, perhaps?" She pulled down a book, like a handle. It remained stationary, so she looked at the cover. "101 Ways to Kill Your Enemies," she read, feeling startled and confused. "Who ever owns this house has serious issues!"
(EDIT:) "No, I don't believe we have, Lady Death." Taur smiled. ""My name is Taurquende. I came in very quietly last night. I'm sorry I didn't meet you!"

The Horseman continued out through the Drawing Room door, across the hall and long the corridor passing The Ballroom until he reached The Library at the end.

Fragile trailed the Horseman, admiring the way the shadows danced and flickered in the hallway as they walked, carrying their candles. She smiled slightly in anticipation of the books she hoped to find.

Upon entering The Library, The Horseman noticed that the candles were already lit. "I think you can blow yours out for now" he said turning to the rest of his party.

Goldleaf nodded. "I wonder if the library's any good," she said. "And no, I haven't seen Nia. Did she arrive last night? I thought she said she was coming. Don't worry, Tur, she'll be fine." She tapped him on his shoulder as a reprimand. "Easy on those eggs, mister."

Bubbles shuddered at the idea of misusing books. "Book should be well cared for," she said quietly, running her hand over an especially old volume. She scanned the shelves, and was very excited when she found what she was looking for. "Yes! A Dekker book!" she exclaimed. She pulled the book from the shelf and settled down into a comfy chair to read it.
