"What are you talking about? You play beautifully," Taur assured Bubbles. She listened thoughtfully, watching Lady Death and The Horseman drift gracefully about the room.

"Thank you so much, my friend," Bubbles said warmly, hugging Goldleaf. "Can you play?" she asked, motioning to the piano and the clarinet. "I certainly don't want to hog all of the music."

Goldleaf hugged Bubbles back. "You're welcome," she said. "I can't really play an instrument. I could sing the odd song, though. Hobbit drinking song, Elvish lament, you name it. Anyone fancy a duet?"

Saffron clapped as Bubbles finished her song. "That was beautiful!" She exclaimed.
Winter ran down the stairs and straight to Saffron, blinking curiously at the clarinet. The cat had never seen one before, so she creeped up to it and tried to scratch it. Saffron picked her up before she could do any real damage, though.

"I could sing, too," she said to Goldleaf. "Do you know any songs from Lord of the Rings?"
{Except that I haven't picked mine up in ages...*needs to practice*}

Taur clapped along with Saffron, and congratulated Bubbles again. Then, hearing the Horseman mention Danse Macabre, she said "Oh! I love it too. Though I think we also would need an orchestra to really do it justice. Now, I could play 'In the Hall of the Mountain King' if I had my bassoon with me." she said, smiling.

"Permit me madam" replied The Horseman, and from under his cloak (which seemed to hide a multitude of sins) he produced and profesional quality bassoon, which he handed to Taur with a smile.

"What a nifty trick!" Taur exclaim, accepting it graciously, while trying to figure out how a Horseman without a head can smile. (;)) She took it and began to play the lively tune.

The sound of music filled her ears and her curiosity won out her interesting in the novel she had been reading, setting it back into place on the bookshelf in the study she walked out of the room and followed the lustrous sound of the tempting melody.
She came in just in time for the horseman to speak about the Danse Macabre. "I play the violin..." Her voice a bit timid.

(Homg! That went so fast, I was not prepared. Although I think I am relatively caught up now.)
Catherine stepped away from the snack table and made to walk about the room to acquaint herself with the rest of the guests in the mansion. She listened politely as Taur and the Horseman spoke.
She twirled the stem of her wineglass in her hand and let her mask rest easily in the other before she found an entrance and broke in with an easy greeting.
"Hello. It is a lovely party is it not?" She remarked, looking up as if to admire the surroundings. Her smile widened in earnest as music drifted around her.
"Ah, what a lovely tune. Don't you agree?" She said not to anyone in particular.

Taur finished, pleased at the high quality instrument. "Mm, you don't mind if I keep this, do you?" she asked the Headless Horseman. She heard Catherine comment on the song. "Yes, it's one of my favorites! I actually decided to play bassoon because of it."
Then, she heard Jocelyn mentioned she played the violin. "Oh, we would love to hear you play 'Danse Macabre.'" she said.

Bubbles stopped twirling and applauded Taur's skill. "You play beautifully!" she exclaimed. "Jocelyn, we would indeed love you hear you play," she added earnestly.
