I haven't seen a topic discussing of the great serie "The Tudors" on Showtime so I'm making one!

I've discovered it on net by downloading it and I think I developped an addiction since the credits of the very first episode!

Are there any fans so we can chat about this awesome show?

I haven't yet finished season 2, actually I just started it I'm at episode 2-03, and though I know how it all ends it gives me the creeps!


Jonathan Rhys-Meyer is perfect as Henry, it's not a plain character is playing. Sometimes nice, sometimes tyrannic, he makes me think of a child with too greater power for him, well at least in season 1.

I love The Tudors! I'm on episode four or five of season 2, so I haven't finished that yet either. I think Jonathan Rhys-Meyer is utterly brilliant as Henry and Natalie Dormer is also incredible.

And Henry Cavill.

I Love the Tudors! It's wonderful! I've only seen 2 episodes of the Second Season *Weepeth* But, I shall see them when they're out on video Yay!! I love the costumes! Oh and the introduction xD I love the music and because it's so artsy!

I love the Tudors! I'm on episode 5 of season 2. I've become a fan of Natalie, she's amazing as Anne.

See. I tried watching The Tudors once and my mother walked in on me on a rather risque scene and yeah, haven't had the opportunity to watch it ever since.

My dad watches it, so occasionaly I'll watch it as well.

It's pretty good, esp Rhys-Meyers, talk about eye candy and a good actor.

The whole show is one giant risque scene. If I'm watching something racy/risque, etc by myself, I'm not usually embarrassed. But there are some scenes in there that made me blush! It was kinda like, whoaaaa, this is almost po.rn. (ha, I use a . to get around the censor. I'm bad.)

That's true! But seems to me that "Rome" was far more risky than "The Tudors" if you want to compare!
I gave the season 1 DVD set to a friend for her to watch and I was like "Oh, btw, try your parents or little brother to be at home while watching it... Just sayin'..."

Anyway, it's good to see new Tudors fellows!

Ok, so I share my news! Can we talk about spoilers? I don't think so, anybody knows how it ends after all!
Anyway, you can read no further if you want to keep the thrill till spring 2009! It's too far for me!








-For those who were wondering, Johnathan R-M won't appear as fat Henry, and it seems he never will. I think I read somewhere that the writer and director did not want to reproduce the grotesque TV portraits of Henry, if you see what I mean...

- Season 4 will be the last. At least the last concerning Henry, the producers are kined to portray Henry VII's life afterwards, not Henry VIII's children. I would have loved that though...

- Season 3 is dealing with Jane Seymour and Anne of Cleves, wife 3 and wife 4. Season 4 will be about wife 5, Catherine Howard and wife 6, Catherine Parr, and eventually, me thinking, Henry's death.

- Anita Briem who played Jane Seymour on season 2 [picture] won't be back for season 3.
Annabelle Wallis [picture] will be the new Jane.

-Singer Joss Stone will be portraying Anne of Cleves, we even have a promotional picture, the very first one of this season!

-Casting calls asked for a July newborn boy: guess what? I think we have our Edward VI!:P

-That's my opinion, but I'm convinced season 3 will ended with Cromwell's death... Maybe I'm wrong but at least I'm sure it will be in this season!

Well I'm a HUUUGE fan of The Tudors.

I didn't get to see season 1 when it first aired...because I don't have HBO. But my uncle would tell me all about it. XD And to be honest, I only really got into it because of Jeremy Northam as Thomas More. *cough*

Granted, there's plenty of eye candy but I was more interested in Mr. Northam. So you can imagine my depression going into season two...knowing the outcome of his fate. Ha ha ha...talk about utter despair and devastation. *SIGH*

But I think it's a brilliant show! And I really can't wait for the next season. Should be exciting! Even though I STILL don't have HBO...I find ... errrr ... other ... methods of viewing. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!
