Tur held the blade as though it was his very link to life. This plain piece of hammered steel was the onlt thing that was normal in this party, and he was going to melt it the moment he returned home. Hearing a reccomendation for a fire, he immediately set to whittleing kindling out of old, dead branches littering the ground. Building a small pyramid and lining it with grass, he looked around. "Does anyone have flint? Or a match or lighter?" he asked, handing the knife back to Kit.

Okay, that was lame. Terribly sorry about though, dinner, and dad had to check e-mail.}
Saffron was, indeed, rather stunned. She had been watching her death re-play before her eyes, and had lost all awareness of the other guests watching her. (Or plummeting through her, in the Horseman's case.) Unfortunately, though, the murderer was only a shadow in her mind.
As she started to regain...um, awareness, she began to speak, as if to herself. "Oh, that sucks. I was dragged out of bed, knocked unconscious. And I can't find Winter anywhere...has anyone seen her?" She looked at the various guests gathered around her.

Tur looked up, and shook his head sadly at Saffron's ghost. "I am sorry, but we could not find her after you were found." he said shakily.

Kit tossed Turwaithion a flint and turned to Saffron. "So you were asleep then? Awoken in the commotion and then knocked out?" Kit wondered, "It seems an awful lot of work to be dragged from your room all the way out the garden doesn't it?"

Jocelyn thought about what she had been told and grabbed her sketchbad, drawing a quick sketch of Saffron being knocked unconscious... now what to do with the information that she had.

Tur struch the flint against his knife blade, producing sparks that caught and gave a small flame. Blowing gently, he addes several more sticks to th pile, and when the blaze had grown, sticks, and them logs, of increasingly larger size until the blaze was nearly as tall as he. "But id it happened during the night...who would have done such a thing? I was up making bullets, but would someone have taken you out via a window?" He asked, his mind working furiously as he handed Kit the knife and flint.
((I'm starting to think you have it in for me, Kit))

Fragile found herself smiling, caught up in the excitement of the theories. She realized how odd it was to be so lighthearted about a murder, but she would rather be interested and excited than disturbed.

"How awful!" Taur exclaimed. "But why would someone go through all that trouble? Surely there are more practically ways of murder than dragging someone through the hall outside where we were all sleeping, down a flight of stairs, outside, and into the fountain."

Kit tucked the flint and knife away in her coat pocket and just gave a Turwaithion a <i>look</i>. Pliff had since brought out the smore supplies and comfy camp-fire chairs were set all around for everyone.
"Well, wait a minute," Kit said as she sat down. "Let's think here. Turwaithion didn't sleep all last night did he? Were in... where were you dear? In the dining room? Perhaps he's the killer, or maybe, the killer saw that Turwaithion was awake in the house so he had to sneak Saffron outside to do his deed?"
