Having lost her initial shock over the ghost, Aria felt quite a bit of sympathy for the girl. "You poor dear," she said, and out of habit more than anything, went to pat her on the back. Her hand hung awkwardly in the air as she remembered Algernon's rush through the being. "Er."

Pulling back her hand, she shook her head over the theories. "It just makes no sense... why didn't anyone hear her being dragged away?"

Saffron's ghost frowned and decided to float cross-legged in the air, glaring at the guests. "Why'd anyone want to kill me, though? Okay, so I wrote a few angsty songs. But seriously! I never did anything..."

"Now, as to why," Taur said thoughtfully. "The cat Winter is gone, which could show a motive, or our friend's just insane."

"This makes no sense though," Nurrantiel stated. He author's logic kicked in. "What would be the point of killing her? Motive? Why would someone bother sneaking around the house, looking for someone along, and dragging them all the way down outside?" She couldn't fathom it.

Tar sat up in her bed, and groaned, looking at the clock. She really had to stop watching movies on her iPod till six in the morning. She went downstairs, hoping to grub up a meal, since it was already dinner, or past it.

But no one was around. Searching around, Tar finally found them, all talking to what appeared to be Saffron, in a slightly more transparent sort of mood.

"Evening all." She said cheerily. "And might I say, Saffron, that you look very nice with all that ectoplasm. But of course, that means you...died. That's awful, of course. But I'll admit that I always thought spooks were fun. Very Patrick Swayze. I assume you've all caught the murderer by now? Why else would Saffron come back, but to accuse her killer?"

"Wait! What if the killer threw Saffron out the window, and she landed in the fountain?" Taur offered. "Then, they wouldn't have to worry about sneaking around the house with a body. Where was her room?" She looked up at the upper story, counting windows.

Kit couldn't help but laugh at Taur's suggestion because the thought of some mysterious figure throwing Saffron, who could still have been flailing, two stories down, aiming very well and making sure she didn't crack her head open.


"That's a good one." Kit chuckled to herself. The image was just too funny.
