"Maybe there's a secret passageway," Fragile suggested. "Maybe the murderer knows where it is. And maybe that's how he managed to get Saffron out." Fragile paused. "It's just a theory, of course," she added, hoping she hadn't said something unintelligent.

[Guys, this is hilarious!  ]
Bubbles walks up, feeling like she's been totally out of it, which she has. "Saffron?" she questions, staring at the apparition before her. "How are you doing, sis? I should think it would be very strange being a ghost," she pondered. "All of that weightlessness and such." _________________ 
i'm back for a little! i'll see how this visit goes.

"Hello, Tar," Saffron said dryly. She was very blatantly trying to hold back a chuckle. "I may not be a light sleeper, but I think I'd notice if I was flying through the air...ooh, that'd make a good lyric..."

Tar almost had a aneurysm trying to calculate how many houses in movies actually had secret passageways.
"Oh Kit, you absolutely must not ask me questions like that! My poor brain will melt. Enough. Enough houses had passageways. I mean, this house might just be an old part of the Underground Railroad. I don't know! There are so many possibilities."

Fragile cast around until she found a bag of marshmallows and a chocolate bar. "Here you go, Bubbles," she said, handing them over. "Anyway, I agree, we can't know what may or may not be in that house. The problem with secret passageways is that they're, well, secret, which implies difficult to find."

[it is at this point that JF wonders if Richard Taylor's abscence and her lack of travelling was a good thing, as she looks at the 20+ pages that need to be summarized for tomorrow]

Bubbles giggled at the idea of a crazed sailor and poked a marshmallow on a stick. She turned it slowly until it has changed to a nice golden brown. "I think that if we're going to look for passages, we should wait until tomorrow. Everything is more spooky at night," Bubbles mused. "And Saffron, transparent is indeed your color."
[Well, I guess I'm leaving. Goodnight! I'll catch up on everything tomorrow evening if there's time.] _________________
