You explore for a bit, and then sit down and look exasperated, and then let your eyes fall randomly on a spot, and that'll be where the entrance to the secret passage is." Tar said, nodding. At Kit's and Bubble's, uh, compliments, Saffron's cheeks turned a pale red. (How this was possible, I am unsure.) "Well, thanks...I guess. Don't suppose I can sing anymore, though." She said with a heavy sigh. "And I don't think I'll need to sleep. So I'll just float here. Or something."

"Secret passageways..." mused Aria. "Didn't that Harry bloke mention some crazy room this morning? Anyways, I concur that the exploring should be left till the morrow... today has been exhausting."
Turning to Fragile she nodded, "I too wonder about that map. And the water... connections and all. But very placement of the map is very mysterious! Why would such an obviously skilled killer be so careless as to just leave it?"

"Does the fact that it was an old map have anything to do with it?" Fragile asked. "Maybe the killer is interested in history as well as water..." she started to roast a marshmallow, watching it turn the cliched golden brown. "I agree, Aria... it does seem incredibly careless, especially for someone who was intelligent enough to get Saffron out of the house without disturbing us."

"Oh Saffron! If you don't sleep, that'll be perfect! Because lord knows I'm a night owl! We can watch movies together." Tar exclaimed. "As for this whole water idea, maybe we're looking too much into it. I mean, it might just be someone who likes history, or old maps. I mean, does the fountain necessarily have to be significant? Maybe it was just convenient."
EDIT: [Holy moly, Fragile and I just posted basically the exact same thing.]

Kit took the cliched golden brown marshmallow and plops it in her mouth while sticking another marshmallow on Fragile's stick. "The map ---was--- old wasn't it? That is the odd part, but.... would someone just randomly bring a particularly old map to a place like this? Or perhaps they got it from the library? I do remember some historical atlas books in the library."

Lady Death appeared at the edge of the glow cast by the fire. She glanced at Saffron, who was nearly impossible to see in the darkness, and smiled. "I thought we'd be seeing you again, dear," she said, seemingly unconcerned with the fact that Saffron was indeed a ghost. She moved into the light and reached for a marshmallow to roast. Lord Death appeared out of the darkness and stood protectively behind her.
Immediately she jumped into the conversation. "Oh, that's brilliant!" she cried, "I only wish I'd been here to help all of you come to such a conclusion. Ah well, there will be many clues to come I'm sure..."

Fragile opened her mouth to protest Kit's marshmallow swap, but was distracted when she heard Tar's suggestion and promptly laughed in delight. "Brilliant! Only you could find that connection, Tar!"
