Ah, right. I getcha.
I see what you mean. Well if you take away three pages I suppose of off-topicness on Sunday night, it is pretty much on schedule.
Although you also have to take into account that there are more members participating (or new members who have more time to spare) so that could also be why more is posted.
Ok, here you go.
The Headless Horseman wrote: October 17th Summary
The Headless Horseman arrived first and proceeded to kick the front door down. This caused problems for some time into the evening as the door fell down whenever a guest entered the house. He also provided many little tiny cute pumpkins that were dotted around the shelves and other such places.
Nurrantiel Mashiara came with her notebook for inspiration for one of her novels. She writes a lot of the happenings down that would be perfect for one of her books.
The Wicked Witch crash landed breaking her broomstick in the process. She later fixed it with duct tape that she provided, so she could hang some of the tiny pumpkins from the ceiling.
Some windows have been broken thanks to The Wicked Witch and Elegost.
Turwaithion is a historian and knows a lot about old weapons etc. He also has some with him.
Saffron Orange provided a somewhat demonic cat Winter who went missing for a short while but later was found.
Tar-Samara is always quoting film facts and other things relating to films. Occassionally she has also mentioned how certain characters have met their ends in said films.
Elegost Eruaphadion arrived with explosives and fireworks.
After being railroaded into helping fix the door by Tar, Aria Dissonance was the first to mention a toolbox although Tar, Kitoky, Fragile Silence etc mentioned it afterwards
Baby carrots have been generally avoided [see last years Hallowfest thread for more info ]
Kitoky recommended a red wine from the wine cellar. Vintage 1930’s
Kitoky led the door repair party (Tar, Aria and Fragile Silence) to the cloakroom to retrieve a toolbox only to find it was empty of tools.
Questioning the maid and butler, Kitoky discovered that the hammer and duct tape within the tool box had been used by the butler to fix a window before the guests arrived. They had been put back in their proper place after use.
Bubbles the 5th provided bubbles during the course of the evening.
The Headless Horseman provided red, orange, green and black balloons.
Jocelyn A. Rose refers to red and blood quite a lot.
To be careful of the chandelier was the last thing Kitoky said before the guests retired. The Headless Horseman wrote: October 18th Summary
There were more explorations on this day. The library was used by various members and a piano was found in the ballroom where there was later dancing and music.
Taurquende was the first to mention secret passages.
A book was found by Taurquende "101 Ways To Kill Your Enemies".
Lady Death provided music on the piano.
Bubbles the 5th played the clarinet.
Taurquended played the bassoon which was provided by The Headless Horseman.
Jocelyn A. Rose played The Danse Macabre on her violin.
Kitoky's cooks have resigned as one of them saw a figure walking around the previous night when everyone was asleep.
Kitoky announced there would be a pumpkin carving contest out on the terrace.
Aria Dissonance asked Kitoky if she could do some baking at some point during the festivities.
The servants seem to like passing their job onto another servant.
It was again mentioned about the mysterious figure that was seen.
A bonfire was lit in the grounds and smores were handed out [that's marshmellows, chocolate and biscuits to the sensible people like you and me]
Kitoky asked th servnts to place all the carved pumpkins on the porch and stated it was not safe to be out so late anywhere at any time of year. The Headless Horseman wrote: 19th October Summary Harry Dresdenannounced that there was a room on the second level that contained doors which upon opening, took the visitor right back to the same room.
Jocelyn A. Rose awoke to find that she had drawn a picture in her sleep of a figure and beside the figure was a body (neither male or female) lying against the floor in a pool of blood.
Saffron Orange was found face down in the fountain in the garden by the servants. Next to the fountain was a very old map, so old it depicted that the world was flat.
Saffron'sbody was taken into The Dining Room by Turwaithion.
The general opinion changed from murder by guest and do the chicken-dance-in-panic-mode to perhaps there was an accident or it was an outsider who murdered Saffron.
Some guests decided they would move about it groups just in case.
Many guests withdrew to The Drawing Room to partake in tea and cakes.
Lady Death suggested an exploration of the nearby Graveyard.
Kitoky had Saffron's body moved to the morgue.
Winter the cat has disappeared.
Lady Death suggested playing hide and seek in the graveyardand The Headless Horseman provided the fairy lights.
Fragile Silence won the pumpkin carving contest.
The ghost of Saffron Orange appeared whilst the game was being played.
There is a possibility that The Headless Horseman is gay although he might deny that.
The Headless Horseman volounteered to try and touch Saffron the Ghost and was promptly plunged through her by Kitoky (who is very strong for someone so ..er.. *ahem*)
A bonfire was lit for the guests as they waited for Saffron to reappear with news of what happened to her.
Saffron appeared and said she was asleep in bed, when she was knocked unconscious and dragged out of the bed. She said she had trouble falling asleep.
Many theories prevailed as to why the killer would drag a body downstairs and how come no-one heard them. And what does the map mean? These are some of the suggestions:
- Saffron's body was thrown out of the window and either landed exactly at the fountain (without cracking her skull open) or landed on the lawn and then was dragged and drowned
- A secret passageway that only the killer knows about, could have made it possible that she was dragged downstairs and no-one heard the killer
- A crazed sailor (map + water)
- A historian (old map)
- A pirate (old map + water)
- A POTC Fan (map + fountain + water + pirate = Fountain Of Youth)
- It's all a red herring The Headless Horseman wrote: 20th October Summary
The Headless Horseman was left alone for most of the day unsupervised. This is not something to be encouraged.
Monopoly was cracked open (much better than a bottle of champayne) and the game was virtually neverending. [I personally have asked for my score to be etched on my tombstone, so I can carry on with the game.. er.. wherever I end up]
Kitoky caused several heart attacks by announcing there had been a "merder" [we take it this is New York-ian for "murder" although Kit is in fact, not from there]. Turned out to be a quiz question involving a murder mystery.
Several people seriously considered using the lead piping in the ballroom on themselves as the question was so ridiculously-hard-yet-stupidly-easy.
Nurrantiel Mashiara answered the question correctly as she obviously used 90% of her brain while most of us seemingly only used 9%.
The ghost of Saffron Orange would like to know what happened to her cat, Winter.

Thanks, JF! They're all in the first post and I shall put up the day by day post count soon.
Also.
Would anyone be willing to make me a banner + avatar that went along the lines of "... You know it's the Hallowfest when half the members of A-U are in the Clubs Section." xD

I was actually just thinking about that today. The rest of the forum is pretty much on a standstill until November.
And I'd be happy to.

Yeah, Kit, that's a really good point. Like, normally I come on every day and have like, 40 topics to reply to. I came on today and it was like...10. It's great.

Well, considering I haven't been on all day (yay school) I would say that things have indeed slowed down.
Kit, that banner is made of awesome. Great job Nurr! And it's so, so true. I've pretty much abandoned the rest of the forum.
So when is today's summary going to be up? As I said, I missed most of today, and I'm pretty lost. Aparently Lady Death died of a Twilight catastrophe?

Oh, no! Don't feel sorry, it's no problem at all! I was just curious.
Haha, I know, I will be on here as much as possible over the weekend.

Thanks for... well... I just popped in here and read up on the last couple of pages and I think Kit and/or JF replied to some of my questions, so thank you!
Lady Death died? Am I the only one finding this incident incredibly ironic...?
*ponders*
I know there was one more thing I can't leave without commenting... Owh! The banner!! Nurr, that's gorgeous!! *steals and eats*
ETA [ETA seems to be the new trend around here and of course I will copy all the cool kids, although I can't get the innuendo to the Basque Nationalist Organisation out of my head.]
I loved all the Febreeze talk, pure hilariousness, thanks for posting the YouTube link. I want Febreeze now!! My life will never be the same again without it!!

Since... internet?
Or since 1959 where the Basque Nationalist Organisation was founded?
On this forum apparently since last night [GMT] when Kit, the epitome of cool, introduced it as the new Black.

21st October Summary
Lord and Lady Death were found dead, underneath a pile of books in the Library. [don't question the power of Kit who can kill off already dead dudes]
The murdering books in question turned out to be from that ever popular series, Twilight which the Lord and Lady Death disliked.
Lord and Lady Death were inspecting the Library, when Lady Death wanted a closer look at a Twilight book. Hundreds of books them came tumbling down, and the last thing she remembered was the smell of flowers seemingly coming from the carpet itself.
Many of the books, came with the house although some were donated by the community and friends, and some were purchased, and Kitoky brought her own.
The poor, long suffering Horseman was sent into a tizzy, when the novel Flowers For Algernon was mentioned as a possible clue to the murderer.
Flowers were connected to Jocelyn. A Rose.
It was also mentioned how ironic that Lord and Lady Death were killed by Twilight and Saffron, a cat lover, was killed by water.
It was suggested that maybe Lord and Lady Death were unconsciously attracted to that area of the Library because of a particular scent.
Febreeze was suggested as being the reason behind the flowery scent on the carpet. If it is missing, then it is the third thing to go walkies along with the tools and the cate Winter.
Kitojy did the Polka and nearly killed The Headless Horseman in the process.
