Yay, for having a ground-breaking important event within a tolerable time for Europeans-with-regular-schedules!! (note how that rules out twisted individuals like JF and Larael. :teehee:)
And I'm referring to the voting/discussing the killer in case you wondered!

Okay.. I know, there will come a time very soon where people will start poking me with sharp objects every time I whine about 'poor Europeans...

But what if we guess the killer in first shot? An incredibly lucky guess... or an incredibly well-founded guess? Alright, I will personally do my best to not let that happen.... *cough* I'll accuse ehh... myself... or umm... The Headless Horseman... I'm sure he's hunting for a head... muahahaha! :P

So, let's discuss!

My guess goes for Jocelyn.
    likes Twilight
    likes PotC
talkes about roses quite a bit. roses---->flower scent
creepy drawings of dead people. :confused2: plus, the day of Lady Death's death
    Quote:
Jocelyn was the first to wake up today and as she did so she found that she had drawn nothing and there were no dreams that night. Normally this would have satisfied her but instead it troubled her... greatly.
that to me sounds like she didn't draw people because she had killed someone already.

Other possibilites: Turwaithion or Elegost
awake all night, plenty of opportunity
    no shortage of weapons experience

And I would say PD for some of the same reasons as Jocelyn, except she didn't show up until later. Not that that means much... *muses*

I'm going to guess Jocelyn, too, and for the same reasons. Rose is even in her name. Also, I know this sounds superficial, but it may be a clue. Jocelyn always types in a reddish color, and she italicizes such words as "blood" and "roses."

I don't like to implicate myself, but the Old Map=Historian, which I am In-Roleplay.

And PD is open, b/c there are NO ALIBIS here.

Jocelyn... a good guess... she has been here a lot for the Hallowfest, but still isn't it too obvious? If I were the killer I'd make the first clues really vague...

I like the the ideas of the boys being the killers. Elegost is a good guess. :-)

Hm, good point Ea. It may be really obvious, but (oh gosh, here I go again feeling like Vizzini) maybe she would have known that we would think it was too obvious and so not believe it.

Really Thion? Oh..

You took the words right out of my mouth (or fingers, rather) again, Nurr. :P This could be a case of something that's so obvious it's confusing.

Personally, I don't think it was Thion. Although I'm still open to the ideas of the murderer being Elegost or PD.

Hmmm... I've not been here enough to really say... Jocelyn seems likely... but then... so does PD. Though... I wonder if it would be someone who loves Twilight or hates it passionately... :erm:

Personally I wouldn't dare dropping a really obvious clue the first time, I mean you never know what kind of clever people you're dealing with and there is still 1½ week left of the Hallowfest. :-)

By the way, there could be more than one killer, right? This Hallowfest is bigger, better, longer and stronger than last year's so why not two killers?

Can there really be two? I dunno...

btw, was the whole cat thing deemed inimportant? I just remember Saffron telling us to go search for her cat, because that would not be a "trivial persuit". *shrugs*

What I think is that the killer would have to love Twilight... Lady Death hates Twilight, so why would the murderer work with something he/she hates? I think that the murderer would use a tool that he/she was familiar with, and liked, against someone who disliked it vehemently.

Two killers? Good idea!

The cat might or might not be a valid clue, we can't know since it wasn't one of the official clues Saffron were given about the circumstances of her death.

I think the cat is at least somewhat significant... because Kit strongly specified that the cat was nowhere to be found, and when Tur god-moded the cat Kit corrected him. If the cat didn't matter, why would she have gone to the trouble to make an issue of that?

And I was pretty sure there was one killer and then a killer's accomplice, if I'm remembering right (Kit or JF can correct me if I'm wrong). I am also thinking that some things are pointing at Jocelyn... but would that be too obvious?

Good point. How did Tur god-mod the cat? I wasn't there. What was it about?
