Kit and Yusef came through the kitchen with a rather large bucket that someone could probably stuff her in (Kit requests that you don't) and saw the group. "Oh hello, guys! What's all these lovely----oh, pies! Oh amazing! They smell great! And apple ones!"
She smiled, "Speaking of which. I'm setting up for apple-bobbing tomorrow. I was hoping to just set this in the ballroom and we could just bob for apples later." She gestured to the large container. "Would anyone like to help me fill it up with water? I'm afraid we're going to have to get some tubs and fill it up with water from the sink, going back and forth."
Kit nodded her head behind her, "Yusef's got all the apples." She indicated to the large bucket he was carrying full of apples. "I couldn't carry both you see...and I'd feel horrid if I just made Yusef carry everything so... I grabbed another bucket."

"That's it so far," said Aria to Mrs Haldir. She began slipping the finished pies into the enormous oven. "Man, now I'm hungry. Can't wait until they are done!"
She wiped her hands as Kit was entering the room... and grabbed some bowls and whatnot immediately, passing them out to the others so they could began the task of hauling water. "Bobbing for apples, classic," she noted.

Kit grinned and headed towards the ballroom. "Come on. Right this way. Try not to spill anything, Pliff has a horrible time cleaning carpet."
She set up the bucket and directed Yusef to place the bucket of apples to the side. "Have a look see how many apples there are."
[I just wanted to post this challenge real quick but I really need to get on the whole homework thing because at this rate I won't be in bed 'til 2 am.]

As Jocelyn filled the pie crust with her pecan filling she had just finished she turned to Kit who was explaining about bobbing for apples and all this fun that was planned for the next day. "How exciting, now that I finished with the pie, it just has to cook so I can help fill if you still need it..."

"Ooooh! Bobbing for apples!" Bubbles exclaimed. "I've never actually done it, but it sounds like so much fun." She peered into the bucket and tried to guess how many there were.

Nienna just caught her Ada's response as she went into the Kitchen. "Apples Hmm?" she added to her question, "apple bobbing! fun!!" Nia looked up at the ceiling, trying to guess the amount of apples there were in the bucket. I wonder how many apples there are? Fun!!

Delicious aroma's filled the dining room as Aria began carrying the finished pies over there. They were fresh out of the oven and slightly cooled... Aria's mouth was watering like crazy just looking at them.
"Well, shall we enjoy our spoils?" she asked of her fellow cooks in the kitchen. Looking around at the floor smudged cheeks and cinnamon fingers, she suppressed a giggle. "I think we've hauled all the water Kit needs to the Ballroom by now, hm? Shall we take a quick break and dig in then?"

Tar sat on her bed, reading a book. She heard commotions from coming downstairs, and the aromas of fresh pie wafted up into her room. She briefly considered going down and being all social-like, but she decided that she'd rather stay in bed all day.
"Gah, I hate Thursdays." She muttered to herself, turning the page.
[So much work to do. Just dropped in to confirm that I'm not dead.  ]

[That's pretty much what I'm doing as well. It was a very long night doing homework and such...]
Lady Death poked her head through the closed kitchen door to get a better look at what was going on. She had smelled the most delicious aromas from up on the garden terrace and had floated down to investigate. "Oh, don't those look delicious!" she said, feeling happier than she had since her, well, second death. "It's a shame I can't eat them, as I'm sure they'd taste lovely!" Her ghostly form bobbed up and down in the corner as she watched her friends bake wishing beyond anything that she could join them.

Fragile wandered into the kitchen, her face pale with the cold. She had been out in the garden for hours now, but the smell of pies and the thought of warmth had drawn her back inside.
"Is anyone willing to share some pie with a cold elf?" Fragile asked, trying her best to look pitiful.

Eä walked down the hallway from her room and proceeded down the stairs. The mansion felt eerily quiet today and she noticed how her footsteps cut through the silence with every step she took. She wrinkled her nose and started focusing obsessively on putting her foot to the ground as carefully as she could.
"Oh great, the next thing will be that I start counting all the threads in the carpet" she muttered.
"Arhh, silly, was that one number 15.667 or 12.666?" she stopped for a moment.
"Considering the place and the time, it must have been 12.666..."

All that mattered now was revenge. Not noticing the low lampshade, on the wall, he instinctively ducked. He needn't of, for he was no longer one of the living.
(No Way Great-Great Uncle!! You died!! Who's gonna help meh Ada patrol the corriders at night now? One of the still living, meaning...)
