"But of course... the killer must be a man and he just happened to have his Girl smell deodorant with him all times, you know that distinct odour all girls inevitably emit."
She smirked sarcastically...

Galatea poked at her own half-eaten piece of pie suspiciously before setting it aside. She walked over to where Elegost's body was slumped over the table and poked at his pie suspiciously. "It tasted different, hm?" she said, thinking out loud. "Did someone give it to you, or did you just find it, or...?" Her questions trailed to a stop.

"I must say that is amusing, especially since I've smelt a few men who (if I couldn't see them) I would have guessed they were girls. Ha ha." FF mused. "I'm thinking perfume, but that isn't much of a clue. Pie made me think of Sweeney Todd, but fruit pie? Hm..."

"Well, are you sure he's dead too?" She motioned to Turwaithion with the fork, not really in the mood to get closer and check him. "I mean we haven't seen his ghost yet!"
Eä pinned her eyes on Kit as if expecting her to burst out with all the answers in the world, including the truth about the Yeti and why one sock is always missing in the tumbler.
"Ouch!" She had put her other hand on her hip intending to pull a Sherlock Holmes-y pose as she accidentally poked herself with the fork.

"Anyway, so they boys are gone... and only the Horseman is left of the males in the house. If I was him, I'd be checking my back twice.. or have someone else to .. you know watch it for me..." she hurriedly added.

Saffron floating through the wall. Her previous feeling of joy at not being the only murder victim was long gone. Now she looked at the bodies of Tur and Elegost with an expression of pure sorrow.

"There goes any suspicions of Tur being the murderer..." she said dryly. "I don't know why anyone would want to kill them, though..."

And then, after a moment of silence:

"Wasn't the Horseman wearing something pink the die I died? Or he had something pink? ...Or something? That was irrelevent. Well, we can infer that the killer smells girly and flowery, or at least leaves girly flowery smells around her murder victims."

"Well, our two friends here were so heavily armed that they could probably have held this house for weeks against the entire Army of Sauron. It points to a killer who doesn't like people who brag and stick their neck out... or like Lady Death with that ironical, unfortunate name. But I can't help wondering, what was your 'crime', Saffron?
Eä smirked as Mrs Haldir made her comment about the pies and made a mental note to let her taste any pie Eä herself wanted to eat.

[Wasn't that the same clue Elegost got last year? ]

Taur followed the sound of the commotion into the dining room. Quickly she gathered the situation. "Elegost was poisoned by pie?! Thank goodness I hate pie! I always knew there was something wrong with pie in general. Bad luck, though." She started to turn the clue over in her mind. "Hm, the killer is female, eh? That narrows it down to... almost everyone! Especially now that two out of three of our men are dead. I agree with Ea, the Horseman should really be on his toes."

"Both Tur and Elegost are dead?" Bubbles said, looking at the bodies curiously. "Well, I guess the killer didn't want us to have any protection, and those guys were the best we had." She sighed, then added, "Not to make myself look suspicious or anything, but Jocelyn, Autumn and I were the only people making pies."

i'm back for a little! i'll see how this visit goes.

"It is most likely that the killer would be a female anyway," MH said. "Most of the guests here are female...that is, if the killer is one of the guests here. I no longer believe that it is someone from the outside." Haldir now, would be keeping a close eye one everyone around.

"Hmm," Saffron said. "And you, Autumn, and Joceleyn are all female," she mentioned to Bubbles.

Saffron turned her attention to Ea, as she was also curious as to why she had been killed. "Maybe they don't like rock music..." she mused with a heavy sigh.

Then she floated over to Tur's body and knocked on his head. "Hello? Ghostie? Where are you? Come out of there! Ghostie? Ghostie?!"

In the meantime, some newspaper somewhere ran an article about how being undead can drain a person's sanity level...

"Aria initiated the pie-making, didn't she? By the way, see what a poor protection they were to themselves!" Eä gestured to the dead bodies of Ellie and Turwaithion.
"I'm pretty sure there are females in this house better fit to protect themselves than that... look at us, after all we're still alive!" She pulled a bright smile to cover her feminist side that just decided to flash again.

Kit laughed at Ea's comment and wondered if the ghosts of Tur and Elegost could physically haunt the rest of the guests. She wouldn't be surprised.
