*slips out of her alias for long enough to post*

Here we go. :) Rose, you chose some great pictures for that last one; they're absolutely perfect. :) It's beautiful.

Confession: Those are all pictures I've taken. That's my Anduril replica (my swords are my babies), and my eyes. They were the only pictures I could find that really seemed to work.

Thank you so very much, PD! :-D

Gahh!!! *falls over when she sees the amazing entry* Ok, that's one of the best banners I've seen you make. I love how the font's blended so well with the images, and your eyes are gorgeous! *keeps on staring*

Ooh, I love what you did with that one, Rose; I almost never see Grima/Eowyn graphics. Beautiful. :)

Well, at long last I have my next one done. Not sure what I think of it yet. In case you're wondering, I used a picture of Lauren Barlow from Barlow Girl for this one; she's just gorgeous, and the picture worked. :)

^Wow, that is gorgeous! I love the colors, and how you blended the pictures so well, and the sparkly-ness over on the left...wow.

I suppose now I should go listen to that song. xD

Wow. That's about all I have to say. The blending is impeccable, and....wow. As you can see, I'm echoing Saffron's sentiments. heehee

This is one of the most simple things I've ever made. I saw the picture, fell in love, and the rest is history. (I just noticed that I have one of the lyrics wrong. Oh well. It's Google's fault. :-))

The simplicity really works. :-D It's such a calm song, and your blend echoes that.

I have my next volley ready:

Oh, goodness. *sighs* I have no earthly idea how you do it, Tariel. I just about died when I saw your latest blend! I absolutely adore the font you used for the bottom Forgive Me. What is is? :-D I also love the way you blended the girls into the city background. *falls over* Ok, I'll stop drooling and I'll post my entry. :)

Glad you liked it! :-D I put it together before church this morning, and was afraid it wouldn't turn out. The font is Times New Yorker; not sure where it came from, but it shouldn't be too hard to find.

I love the way the colors work on your latest volley. :) It looks different from anything I've seen you do before, and it looks great. How many textures do you typically use on each graphic? You're just ridiculously good at using them. :teehee:

Speaking of different... I made another volley, and it's different from my usual style.

oh wow, I love all of these blends... they are all so different and yet all so beautiful in their own way. The colors all pop and they're just... gorgeous, guys! And all of the lyrics are beautiful as well... I am really enjoying this battle.

wonderful job, you two! *claps*

*blushes* Thanks so much, PD! Tariel, I normally use 2-5 textures from my very diverse and random collection. The ones I used on my last blend were from http://veredgf.fredfarm.com/textura/index.html Sadly, the site hasn't been updated since 2005. :-( On this blend, I used 3 textures.

Thanks, PD!

I'll have to check that site for textures... thanks so much! :-D Beautiful volley... I love all the different colors you worked in. :)

This next one of mine is a little weird... I do believe it was the first time I have ever used the Burn setting, in the 2+ years I've been doing this. I had a terrible time finding pictures that would even vaguely work too.

I like it! It has a very different feel from your normal work, but it suits the song perfectly. I use color burn all the time, only I lighten it up with screen. I use those two all the time. :-D

When I heard this song for the first time, I thought, "The Mask of Zorro flirt/fight scene!" So, I used that scene. lol The pictures I found aren't the best quality, so it's a little more pixely that I'd like it to be.

I'm learning all sorts of secrets from you due to this battle. :-P I haven't done much with screen either, honestly; I should try it.

Anyways: the pictures really fit the mood of the song. :) I haven't seen that movie, but I know enough about it to know it works. :teehee:

This next volley... I spent over an hour on it, and it still looks dreadful. :duh: It was absolutely ridiculous. I'm just going to post it and get it over with. :-P

Beautiful blends both of you, rather stunning actually. I just noticed this particular one. Seeing as I'm completely graphics-inept I have no idea how much you worked with it to make it look like this, but I love the picture, and I loved how you blended it. Do you still have the link to the site where you found it?
