Yaay for Romana I. I like both, but Mary Tamm had the edge over Lalla Ward for me. I'd love for her to return from e-space, but I don't know if they'd use Lalla and just go with a new actress and have that she just regenerated while she was gone.

I agree, I liked Mary Tamm more. But I'm sure that if they did (which is indeed a big if), there would be a new actress, saying that she had regenerated. I'm not sure that I would still like her, though, if they changed her character too much.

I just look at it the same way as I look at the Doctor's regenerations. It's part of who he and the Time Lords are, so it's never been a huge deal to me.

Well, it's not unprecedented for me to not like a regeneration of the Doctor. I didn't like 6th Doctor, for instance. I didn't watch many episodes with him, because he bugged me so much.

The only Doctor I've never been fond of was #8, but that was mainly due to the awfulness of the movie. I tried so hard to forget it's existence, but then they revised the series and I had to remember there was a Doctor between Sylvester McCoy and Christopher Ecclestone.
But as much as I prefer some Doctors over others. He's still the Doctor and regeneration is just another part of him.

You know, I still haven't watched the 8th Doctor movie. I've been meaning to, but I keep forgetting. But of course, I realize regenerations are just another thing, and I've never had a problem with it. I'm just saying that I might miss old Romana if she regenerated.

That bad, huh? I've heard that people found 8th Doctor charming. Is it the movie in particular that you didn't like, or the Doctor?

I'm not exactly sure how to take it man. I mean, I think we all knew it was coming. Especially because of the specials and not a full season ... and well, yeah. It couldn't go on forever. But it's still SAD. I'm not sure what I'll do without my freckled Scotsman in a pinstipped suit. *SIIIIIGH* Huh. I'm sure I'll be just as devastated as I was when Mr. Eccelston left. Probably even more so. Only because David's been the Doctor much longer and we've all kind of just grown accostomed to him. (For I love both equally but separately...on two different planes) Well damn. Ha ha ha!
In other news, David and the show won awards! Huzzah!!
Man, I really need to catch up on all that ya'll were talking about. Looks so interesting.

Oh.......*whimper* But I love David! How could he?
I'm really sad that he's leaving, but I do understand where he's coming from. He can't play the Doctor forever.
I'm praying that some one good gets the 11th Doctor. Like James Nesbitt. That would make me happy.
Even though I'm still depressed the DT is leaving.
And that's an amazing video. I love it.

I was hoping that he would at least stay through 2010, because it makes me sad that this last season was the last full season we'll have of him. And I mean, come on. Tom Baker stayed for ages and ages. Why the need for people to move on so quickly?

Ha ha ha ha! I highly doubt that teh Oh Wise Phoenix would want Mr. Tennant gone.  Of course, I'd probably kill if she actually had his number.
I put my money on teh JF for convincing him to leave though. HA HA HA! A force to be reckoned with she is.
I am sad that he isn't staying on through another full season.  I agree in that that would've made more sense. And yet...there was all that talk that he was leaving when the not proper season was announced. So in a way it kind of makes sense. Not that I want him to go. BAH. It's gonna be rough man. *SIIIIGH*
I'm interested in who they choose. I ain't speculating at all because I don't think anyone should know until it happens. I also don't want to jinx anything, but I have faith in them. I mean, come on. They chose Chris AND David...they can't be that thick.
