I was mostly disgusted, more than anything. I can safely say I learned much more from The Bank Job than this..thing.

Gosford Park and New Danish Screen, which was a movie 'package' with three short films!

I watched Independence Day last night. My love for Will Smith eclipses my love for Doctor Who, to put in perspective for you.

@Tar: SERIOUSLY? That's kind of intense. In a massive way.
@Elenya: OOOOH. Arsenic and Old Lace! I adore that movie. Cary Grant ftw!
I too watched "Independence Day"...or most of it. Great movie. Although watching this after watching the two Stargate SG-1 movies, I found it very ironic that one of the ships crashed right next to the great pyramids. HA HA HA! OHHHH the irony!

^Yes Monty, it is absolutely true. I love him that much. I'm pretty sure he was my first celebrity crush.
In other news, I watched bits of The Davinci Code.

I saw it tonight... I thought it was very good. I won't get into my personal feelings on the topic, but it made some very profound points. I'm going to find a copy of it and show my mom.
haha Independence Day rules

Last night I watched The Librarian: Quest for the Spear. Oh my word, what a riot. I must say, it's got to be one of the BEST cheesy movies I've ever seen. The characters somehow managed to be both stereotypical AND brilliant... except the villain who was pretty lame. In most ways the movie was just like National Treasure's Riley meets Indiana Jones like adventure with Roald Dahl like elements of fantasy. I laughed (literally out loud) several times. Oh yeah, and Noah Wyle is Utter Cuteness. Favorite lines...
Nicole: What do you think is below the surface arrogance?
Flynn: More arrogance. And then perhaps a few delicious layers of flaky disdain. All around a creamy sweet center of homicidal rage.
"The fate of the world is in my hands? That's so... sad."
And just now I finished watching The Pianist. Wow... what can I say? Adrian Brody definitely deserved his oscar. The story is incredible... inspiring and yet heart-wrenching. The music is beautiful, I love how Chopin is interwoven throughout the movie. It's just a passionate story... a man with a will to survive against all odds. I haven't cried this much in a movie since I saw Equilibrium. A must see... recommend to everyone.
