I saw the trailer for this when I went to see Quantum. It looks really good! Firstly, based on a true story. Which are always interesting. Plus the fact that it's WWII, add in a good cast...I'm looking forward to it!

I've been looking forward to this movie forever! The release date just kept being pushed back and back, but I'm very excited that it's finally coming out! The cast looks amazing. Nearly every one of them has been in at least one other thing I like.
It's amazing to me that a group of Germans would stand up to Hitler when it would have been so much easier, not to mention more profitable, to quietly obey him. That's incredibly courageous to me.

Nurr- Cool!
Taur- I've been waiting forever too and finally it's coming out I think that is pretty courageous and pretty scary too when you think about it.

I saw an andvertisement for it on TV the other day.
It looked pretty good, I just hope they make the content acceptable and family friendly. It's only rated PG-13 but now days even that rateing can have things that I wouldn't let a 16 year old watch if I had any say. lol
Although I like the line on the comercial.

Unfortunately...he is. Oh well, I really don't mind what role he plays. As long as he has some good camera time.

I saw a 2-hour documentary on the History Channel the other night about Valkyrie, both the plot and the movie. It was haunting. What they tried to do was so righteous, you thought they had to succeed, even though you knew they wouldn't. The documentary talked to the children, the few surviving widows, and even a few of the conspirators who managed to escape. Then they talked to the director, the screenwriter, and a couple of the actors and showed some behind the scenes film of the movie, especially the scene at the Bendler Block. The whole crew observed a minute of silence before they started shooting. It must of been very eerie to recreated what happened the very spot where it happened.

That would have been cool to see... a shame I missed it.
But yeah... it's a terrible thing to say (wishing someone was assasinated) but I wish they would have suceeded...
It's sad when you have to choose between killing and more killing....

It would have been interesting to see what would have happened if they had succeeded.

Thomas Wilkinson is awesome. I don't actually care for Tom Cruise, but he looks like he will be good in this role. I'm looking forward to this movie. I really like the bomb ticking effect used in the preview. Gets me excited for it.
