Kit floated down to them, taking Kendra's hand, "I'm Kitara, Kit for short." She glanced around them, looking around for her dad, but found that he had disappeared. Secretly relieved, she smiled at both.

(Well, I guess that just tells me to get this done now Does Maven have some sort of power, by the way?)

Noah Bennett let go of Sylar's arm immediately as if it were something unclean. They were in front of the given address in the file.

Sylar had called Peter to take care of little Noah while he was gone. Peter had agreed, and had teleported there, sure to teleport out of sight of little Noah, under Sylar's insistence. He refused to let his son see anyone's powers, until he was sure that Noah either did or did not have an ability of his own. After kissing his son goodbye and apologizing for having to cancel his plans, Sylar teleported himself and Bennett to this address.

"A diner?" Sylar scoffed. "We're hunting the target down in a diner?"

"I've had stranger locales." Noah Bennett replied, striding forward quickly. He pushed open the doors commandingly. Sylar hesitated only a moment before following.

Maven danced happily behind the bar that she was cleaning and sang along to the music playing from the speakers that were set up around the area. She did not particularly care that she looked completely stupid and childish, she was having fun and that is what really mattered. That and the fact that there was no one inside to give her strange looks.

"Let's go to a rave and behave like we're tripping simply 'cause we're so in love. Funny hats shiny pants all we need for some romance..." she sang loudly, spinning and doing a strange shimmy like motion with her cleaning rag. Her turn stopped midway as she caught sight of the two men, her brown eyes widened considerably and she bit her lip wondering how long they had been there.

"Awkward," she said under her breath in a sing song voice, her eyes momentarily glued to the floor. Her smile returned as she gathered her scattered wits and she raised her hand and gave a two fingered wave that ended up looking more like a half-hearted salute.

"Hey, y'all. Have a seat anywhere and I will grab some menus," she said gesturing about to the open tables. Her voice was strangely devoid of the typical southern accent, 'y'all' was the only word that really gave away her origin.

Kendra shook her hand firmly, "Kitara, nice name" she smiled as she complimented the young girl sincerely before letting her smile drop.
"We have no means of getting back to base, so we may have to walk for a bit. See if I can pick something up to get us there fast." Kendra looked at Ando and her eyes rolled, "Seeing as our usual modes of transport are nowhere to be found"

She turned back to Kit, "Are you okay to walk?"

Kitara grinned, giving a nod to the compliment to her name. She finally settled on the ground, "I'm mostly comfortable in the air, but I can walk."

Kendra pointed to her side, "I was thinking more along the lines of that. Is it healed? Can you heal yourself?" Kendra's natural curiosity to other people with special abilities took over.

As they walked back up the street, Ando looked all around for signs of any agents or anyone from the Company. Kendra took her eye off Kitara for a brief second and noticed his agitation. She gently slipped her hand inside his. Ando looked down at it and up at Kendra. They shared a warm loving smile and kept walking on.

She walked along beside them, "Yes it's healed, I don't know why but healing myself is part of my ability to manipulate the air...I'll be fine"

"Cool" Kendra replied with a crooked smile. "Good thing is the road seems strangely clear. We should have no problems finding a means of way back"

Kit grinned, "that's good"

Kendra nodded, "Last thing we need is more Agents or any of the Companies goons tailing us." Kendra gave Kitara a sidelong glance, "If that happens, and we get mixed up in some trouble. Can you handle yourself?"

She nodded, "Yeah...yeah I can handle myself..."

"Good" Kit nodded, a grim look on her face. "That's a relief to hear. An extra pair of hands is just what we need"

Noah and Sylar were silent as they took a seat at the most distant table from the waitress. Noah made a pretense of looking around.

"That's not the girl." He hissed to Noah, leaning forward across the table. He glanced back at the waitress, who wasn't looking at him.

"I think I might have the burger dip. I hear it's quite good here." Noah commented, looking at his hand disinterestedly. "And I realize that isn't the girl. Her cousin."

"Why don't we just go after the girl? If it's a matter of overpowering her, I doubt that's going to be much of a problem." Sylar replied, lowering his voice even more as the waitress looked back over at them, with menus in her hand.

"Patience, Gabriel." Noah said, smiling as he looked up at the approaching waitress.

(Skadoosh! I'm happy, just beast moded my Biology test. Okay...sorry had to share my excitement.)

The smile that had previously been plastered on her face fell immediately as she turned to go get the menus. God, she hated this job and all the completely creeptastic people that it brought in. She turned and looked at the dark man and the one in the horned rimmed glasses. They seemed a little off, but she could not place it completely.

Maven had a bit of trouble finding the menus considering her co-workers had once again put them in the wrong spot. Of all the places she had to pick to work it had to be somewhere where people could not keep everything in place. She turned about and waved the menus that were now held in her hand and fixed the smile onto her face.

"Found them," she said walking over to the table and handing one to each of the men. "I'm Kelly, by the way. I'm obviously your server...yeah," she stopped there before she started rambling.

"Do you know what you would like to drink?" She asked instead of continuing on her previous line of thought.
