I have Gaussian blur to thank for that... usually set on 3 or 4 and then I either set the layer to "Screen" or "Overlay". It's really not too hard; you just have to experiment with it a bit to get it right. I can't stand when something is too sharp... it just bothers me.  I like it when graphics are soft and dream-like. Makes me feel happy.

^I litruly only just discovered that a couple of nights ago, without even meaning to. For ages I'd been racking my brainpan trying to figure how they go all glowy, and then I was just messing aound the other night, did the Gausian Blur thing and was like "OH MY GOD! I'VE DONE IT!" I actually jumped up and down.
