I was just wondering how you achieve the 'glowing borders' effect as I'll call it. Here's an example of what I mean:

I would really love to know how to do this! I have PSP9, if that makes a difference ;)

Thanks!
Gilraen

I think she set the Layer to "Dodge". ;)

No, actually what I did (but this is with PS 7, so I don't know if it will work  ) is I made a new layer on top of everything else, selected the whole banner, then went to Edit> Stroke. I think I set the width to 3 or 4 pixels, with the color white. Then I just changed the blending style to Overlay.

I hope that helps you some, Gilraen!

thanks Maeth :) it doesn't work in PSP, because I don't have the stroke tool, but I'm glad that you responded! :) and Meluiloth, thank you, too, because that works :)

Gilraen, visit here: http://www.secret-whispers.com and check tutorials. It's the PSP border one. It tells you how to get that border.

On PSP 6, I draw a line on the edges with the brush while pushing "Shift" on a completely new layer, and then I set it on "Color Dodge".
