"You look wonderful yourself," Morning Glory replied to Lady Death.
"Where would be the fun if we told you who we are?" the Joker said to Lord Death, smiling, as he always does.
MG couldn't help but luagh, wiping a tear from her eye.
"Always one for wanting fun, Joker. Always."

Lord Death laughed, for he realised that he had paid for swift typing with a misunderstanding.

"What I meant to say was, How are you enjoying this ball?" he said, grinning innanley. Turning towards Algernon, the black clad Lord inclined hsi head in a respectful manner. "I have been well indeed, life (or rather the lack of it) has been rather good to me" he said, shooting a glance as Lady Death beside him.
"Oh, before I forget, I have something of yours Algernon, before I forget." He clicked his fingers, and two of his retainers came up to Algernon with a box, which they gave to Algernon.
"Your head good friend. It somehow managed to come into my possession after the Hallowfest, and if you wish to me to, I can reattach it with my magics."

He turned towards his stunning companion, and said "Would you like to dance, or get something to drink at all M'lady?"

Lady Death, who was considerably more quiet after her traumatic misshap with Twilight books at the Hallowfest, thanked MG for her compliment, and nodded at Lord Death's response to Algernon's inquiry.

"A dance would be splendid," she said quietly enough that only Lord Death could hear.

Lord Death smiled broadly about this reponse. He leaned so that he whisper softly in Lady Death's ear, and whispered "shall we go now then my dear?"

Lord and Lady of Gondolin swept across the dance floor, looking around at the elegant bodies dressed in silk and lace with a warm smile on each of their faces. An excited gleam in their eyes as they quite enjoyed dancing.

Feathers at the corner of each eye, a petite woman enters. She removes smoothes the front of her voluminous crimson dress before proceeding. She glances around, surprised to realize that masks tend to change people really beyond belief. Sigh a sigh she passes a couple and a tall man and heads towards the drinks. Sipping on some hot coco, she turns to scan the crowd grinning impishly. "This... will be fun."

"Yes," Lady Death whispered back, "Lead the way, good sir." She took Lord Death's offered arm again, and they made their way toward the dance floor.

His brow furrowed in bemusement, the Duke watched the man walk away. "He's a rather strange person." He said half to himself before shrugging the incident off and walking off in a different direction. He made his way around the room, introducing himself and offering bows and handshakes to the other guests, eventually making his way to the drinks table. He picked up a glass of cider and swirled it in the glass, sniffed at it discerningly. Nodding in satisfaction, he took a sip and watched the other guests.

The couple danced as elegantly as the flowing waters as if they had been doing this for years. Which the Lord had and it was easy to fall into step with one of the eldar. They danced for quite some time before the Ladies feet began to tire and together they headed towards the refreshment table, smiling at those they thought they knew behind the masks

"Hello, hello!" The Duke called as a couple stopped dancing and walked towards the refreshment table. "I don't believe we've met. I am the Duke Charming." He bowed to each of them in turn. "And you two are...?"

The Lady of Gondolin turned towards a foreign voice and smiled warmly at the man named Duke Charming. She bowed her head politely as the Lord did the same.

"It is most pleasurable to meet you Duke, I am the Lady of Gondolin and this is my husband, Lord of the Golden Flower."

"Beautiful names to match a beautiful couple." The Duke said to the Lord and Lady. He waved a hand towards the refreshments table. "Come, you must try something. I can personally attest to the fact that the cider is delicious." He picked up a snack and nibbled at the side. "As are the cakes."

Ashalind overheard Algarnon and nodded, "Tis indeed sir. However I still do not see my Prince Charming in this crowd..."
