Snowball Fight </center>

With the last mince pie in place, all was finished. In an area of the gardens, a large open space, dotted with trees and shrubbery yet with plenty of room for snowforts, this was the ideal place to have the Snowball Fight. JF had made sure provisions were there for any cold and wet snowballers, so a time-out tent had been placed in a corner of the garden area, for warm food and drinks to be had without fear of being pelted by a perfectly formed snowball.


<center>Do battle with your fellow guests with the aid of the good ol' snowball. Perhaps even create teams and come up with a cool name for your group - "Sauron's Snowballing Sabateurs" or "Sam's Stealthy & Sneaky Snowball Socking Slayers". </center>

Your Guide To Each Event:

- Masquerade: From midnight on the stated Masquerade days, if you are taking part, you change your username and signature so no-one will know who you are. You can even disguise your partner if he/she is fictional by changing their name to something else. The idea is to a) confuse people and b) be someone else for a day. You can post in the Masquerade thread or any of the ball threads, as long as you keep your real name a secret. At the end of each day, return to your normal Yule Ball name. When both Masquerades are over, reveal who you are in the Masquerade thread.

- Decorate A Tree: On the correct days, find the Decorate A Tree thread and choose from a multitude of trees and decorations to create your own very unique tree.

- Snowball Fight: On the appointed days, go the Snowball Fight thread and join in with the mayhem and madness in a special area of the Gardens.

- Build A Snowman: Let your artistic talent shine, as from the objects provided, build your snowman and then decorate it with POTC, LOTR, HP themed accessories as well as many, many more.

- Reveal Secret Santa's: Let all of AU know, to whom you gave tour gifts.

Enno laughed as she reached the snowball area of the garden and glanced around, trying to spot any hidden guests. Satisfied that she was the first one there she began half-walking, half-skipping around, trying to find the perfect place to hide and build snowballs to throw at the unsuspecting guests who wandered in.
"Perhaps a drink first?" Sawyer took hold of Enno's arm and steered he to the time-out tent.
"Fine." Enno smiled, walking in and grabbing a cup of hot chocolate.

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth, my two front teeth, see my two front teeth!

Even In Darkness [Updating]

Anduril and Matt sneaked into the grounds as Enno and Sawyer walked into the time out tent. Anduril pulled her black and silver fur cloak more securely around her as Matt held his finger to his lips.
"Shhhhh"
They quietly tiptoed to a snow dune and created a 3rd side to it, streaghthening the existing walls and createing a huge pile of snowballs in the middle.
Matt finished pileing them up and turned to give Anduril a long slow kiss. "Now then, are we lone brigands or shall we convert more to our merry band, and if so what shall we call ourselves?"
"Hmmmm" she replied "I think we should convert others, and we shall be The Pudding Pirates."
He laughed quietly. "Then let us wait for Enno and Sawyer to meet thier nemesis at our hands."

Enno paused mid-sip and turned towards the entrance to the tent. She placed her cup on the table and frowned. "I wonder if anyone else is here yet."
"Why don't we go and find out." Sawyer grinned sneaking to the opening o the tent and peeking out. Enno walked softly round to the opposite side of the opening and started rolling up snowballs.

"Get ready then" He passed a snowball to her from the pile and grinned. "Soon as they break cover we snowball 'em"

TT snuck into the designated snowball area of the garden with Faramir very quietly. She spotted Anduril and Enno, and, motioning to Faramir to follow her QUIETLY, she moved behind a bush. Without a word, she made a snowball, toook her aim (aiming for Anduil, who seemed to be occupied at the moment), and shot...

A snowball hit Anduril squarely on the back of the head "Ahhhhhhhhhhh" She stood up in outrage to see who had thrown it. A volly of snowballs flew towards her and Matt leapt through the air and tackled her to the ground. "Idiot" he laughed brushing snow out of his hair. "Ok, you stay here my love, I shall go on a suicide mission, to convert them to the Pudding Pirates or die in the attempt."
Anduril gave him a quick hug "I'l cover your back, I love you."

Matt broke cover and sprinted towards the bushes where TT and Faramir were hideing. Anduril threw volly after volly of snowballs towards them at the same time to protect him. He came to screeching stop one snowball poised over TT's head. "Join the Pudding Pirates or get snowed" He yelled

Having successfully dragged Ash away from his dice game, Lenya hurried out to the gardens, ducking behind trees and bushes to avoid getting hit by any snowballs before she was ready. She had changed out of her dress into jeans, a coat, gloves, and a hat- warmer attire for a snowball fight. Kneeling at the edge of open area, she started packing snow into somewhat uneven globes. "Ok, here's the plan." she said to Ash. "We need a fort. You start building it right over there." She pointed out the spot. "I'll cover you." Gathering up an armload of snowballs, she stood. "Go!" Running out from the cover of the trees, she started pitching snowballs at everyone in sight.

TT watched with some sort of evil delight as her snowball hit Anduril. Her joy vanished as hundreds of snowballs come flying her way. "Duck! Make more snowballs! Fire back!", TT yelled in confusion, trying to hide from the vollys of snowballs. Then she saw someone holding a snowball over her head. She looked up at him, and tilted her head. "Eh? The Pudding Pirates? What the heck is that?". TT couldn't help laughing at the ridiculous name. "Anyway, whatever they are, the answer is no. Afterall", sje said, mentally preparing herself to get "snowed", "someone needs to play the good guy here".

Shouts drew Nurr from the garden ice sculptures into the middle of the snowball fight. "Hey!" She yelled, brushing snow off of her coat, "I didn't even know I was --" she stopped when a snowball hit her in the back of the head. Turning, she glared at Mat. "What?" he asked innocently. "The game broke up." With a shrug and a sigh, the two began fashioning slushy packs and hurled them in a general...thatway direction. Where all the snow was coming from.

From her position on the ground, TT saw Nurr enter the garden.
"NURR!" she yelled wildly. "Throw a snow ball at this guys before he gets me!!"

Hearing TT calling for help, Lenya threw a snowball at the guy standing over her, not waiting to see if it hit him or not before going back to pitching snow in every direction. "How's the fort?" she called over her shoulder to Ash. "Almost ready." he called back, quickly packing snow into makeshift walls.

"Right Thainy!" She called back. In an instant, she and Mat shifted their fire to the other Matt and Anduril. "An alliance, eh? What should we call it? The Good Guys?" She laughed, ducking the flying snow, and getting hit less often than she was hoping.

Lenya suddenly felt a snowball thump against her back- one of the few spots that hadn't gotten wet already. She whirled to see Ash trying to hide a grin. "Fort's ready." She threw a snowball at him, but he easily dodged it as she jumped over the wall into the shelter of the fort. "We've got to defend our base!" she laughed. "Get everyone you can!" She crouched down and started making more snowballs, tossing some loose snow at Ash for good measure. Jumping up for a minute, she threw a couple of snowballs at Nurr before ducking again.

Freya wandered into the garden, Arty in tow... only to see a snowball fight was in progress! "Comeon, Arty! Lets join in."

"I believe I'll sit out of this, you go have fun." Artemis sat down, indulging his wife with a rare smile.

Freya bent down and scooped up snow, packing it into small balls, just the right softness to burst on impact. Then she threw them in the general direction of the other snow-warriors. (you can figure out who it hits, I'm too lazy )

School ate my life. *sigh*

Just as she stood up for another attack, a snowball hit Lenya in the face. Wiping away the melting flakes, she saw Freya. "You asked for it!" She tried to sound intimidating, but the grin on her face took away from that as she threw a quick volley of snowballs at Freya, then dived for cover again.
