Sylied placed a hand on Deawen's choulder and looked at the cut by her eye. "Come on, lets get you cleaned up. It's all over now, Ada's men have defeated the goblins." Sylied said with a softer tone, realizing how bewildered Deawen was.

Deawen recoiled slightly as he examined the cut, it stung to touch it. "Why did Ada, hesitate?" Deawen asked suddenly.

"Sylied!" Mirima said as her brother approached her. "No, I haven't seen Deawen anywhere..." she was about to continue when a leaf fell from the tree they stood under, and both siblings looked up, seeing that it was Deawen.
She watched as her younger sister climbed down. There was a cut by her eye. "Oh, Deawen, what happened to you?" she said. "Sylied's right, we'll go and get you cleaned up, we'll bring you back home." She paused at Deawen's question.
Ellethwen watched the brother and two sisters, wondering whether to speak or not. That cut by the youngest's eye wasn't looking too good. She wondered whether she could offer her assistance, though she was not a healer back home in Lorien, she had a skill for mending cuts.
"Oh." Mirima looked back at Ellethwen, as if a thought had occured to her. "Sylied, Deawen, this is Ellethwen. She fought with me. I'm going to ask Ada if she can stay at court." As she spoke, she stepped forward to examine Deawen's cut.
Ellethwen bowed her head slightly. She leaned against the tree still, her fatigue still overcoming her. She needed to rest.

"I'm sure Ada sent his troops as soon as he could," Sylied comforted her.

Sylied then bowed gracefully to the elf womanas Mirima introduced them. "A pleasure. Anyone my sister will vouch for is a friend indeed. And what of your other companion?" Sylied asked, motioning towards Ellethwen.

Deawen nodded in agreement. Then looked around at her siblings, " Where is Legolas?" she asked fearfully. She looked like she was about to panic again.

Lalaith hardly realised that she was picked up and carried away. Her senses only felt a burning pain in her side. But she felt no panic nor fear. She was at peace with whatever fate had in store for her and perhaps secretely longed for seeing her family once more.
For a moment she dozed off, memories and dreams tormented the frail girl. Suddenly she remembered the purpose of her flight to the Mirkwood. Her village... She had to tell, perhaps someone could still help them..
"The human" Lalaith mumbled feverishly.. "I need to speak with that man.."

Sylied placed his hands on Deawen's shoulders again. "It's ok, Legolas is fine," he assured her. "I spoke to him only moments ago."

-----------------------------------

Zekiera Laid Lalaith down on the bed as the healers continued to tend to her needs.

He started to walk away when he heard her mutter a few words.

"The human" Lalaith mumbled feverishly.. "I need to speak with that man.."

Zekiera didn't say a thing, simply walked out. He lookied around, finding the eearest human... the only other human man that was there as far as he knew, and approached.

"I'm sorry to bother you sir," Zekiera said, his deep tone cutting under the voices of others. "There is an inured woman woman who wishes to speak with you."

"Hannon le, Ryninial," Aramel breathed, bowing her head slightly, dark tresses falling before her eyes. "I am Aramel Elyanwe, of Rivendell. I would be most willing to teach you what I know with a sword... once I've healed fully, that is."

-----------

Aragorn did not look Legolas in the face, his grey eyes focused on a bed of white flowers. He had not spoken his real name for many years, instead going by Estel or Strider. 'Aragorn' seemed almost foreign to him now. Who am I? He turned the thought over in his mind, wondering exactly what he should say. "I have many names, but my true one is ... Aragorn." His voice was hardly a whisper, and if not for Legolas's elf ears, he might have not heard the man. He swallowed the growing lump in his throat and lifted his gaze to meet Legolas's. But a new voice came from behind him, and he turned on his heel to find Zekiera.

"With me?" This caught him far off guard. He had kept to himself this whole time, hardly spoken a word to anyone - aside from his little quarrel with Legolas - he could not imagine who would be asking for him. "Please show me to her," Aragorn said, a worried tone underlaying his voice.

[[Uh, not sure where to put Talathion now... I suppose I'll wait and try to have him jump back in. :erm: ]]

"Mae Govannen Aramel to Mirkwood, although this wasn't the greeting that we had hoped for." Ryninial said a bit sadly as she lead Aramel through the decapitated bodies of the yrch and those that were injured. Ryninial saw that a few goblins were still trying to fight but they fell just as quickly by the Mirkwood armies...

"Thanks, I would like that. I normally don't have time to train as a warrior because I am so tied up with healing..." She shrugged with a smile, passing Legolas on her way by. She saw that he was having a bit of a spat with the man she knew was named Aragorn. She wasn't suprised by this, Legolas was quite irritable at times and it wasn't hard to get into a verbal war with the Mirkwood Prince.

-----------

"Aragorn?" He had heard his father speak that name before, when he was talking about Elrond and Rivendell, or of things of the past. Aragorn was supposedly the heir to the throne of Gondor, but as he looked at the man he could see no royalty, nothing noble about him... just a ranger... that was all Legolas could see and he wasn't sure if he was supposed to believe that this man's name was Aragorn or if it was just a coincidence.

Oh well, he didn't have time to think or ask further because Aragorn was walking off with another. Now that he was standing alone the pain in his leg was almost unbareable and he began to hobble his way towards Mirkwoods kingdom. Although before he went too far he looked around to make sure that all of his siblings were alright... Sylied was attending his younger sibling and the others seemed just fine... so now that he was sure they were unharmed he continued forward, following the healer Ryninial and a girl he did not know.

Zekiera nodded in an almost servant-like manner. "Come this way," he told Aragorn.

He walked across the battlefield once more and headed in to the healers room, bringing Aragorn over to the human Lalaith.

"This is the one who asked for you."

Taurvantian looked up just in time to catch the smile that Ellethwen had so graciously bestowed upon him. He released her hand with utmost gentleness... he found his own hand trembling slightly. He was ashamed that to see it doing so, he could not appear so weak before all of Mirkwood! Placing both hands behind his back, he clasped them and tried to put on a nonchalant look as Mirima introduced Ellethwen to two of her royal siblings. He tried to stand straight and tall, as if his thoughts were not running rampant over the harrowing trails of his mind. Why did he feel this way? He had fought in battles before... many perils had he often met. Why, he was an adventurer! The urge to travel and seek danger was always in his mind. Why should he feel this way now?

He backed further against the tree, feeling that he was intruding. He cast another glance at Ellethwen... oh, but she looked weary from the battle. Yet her weariness gave her a certain grace, a certain beauty... Goodness! He pinched his arm and then clasped his hands together tighter. He must stop thinking about... her...

Mirima listened as Sylied comforted Deawen. She was glad that they were safe. She loved her family dearly. Smiling, she glanced towards her companions; Ellethwen seemed almost to be drooping with tiredness against the tree, and Taurvantian was holding his hands behind his back, looking as if he had something on his mind.
The princess reached out her hand to steady Ellethwen. "You need rest," she advised. "My, you fought so fiercely! Some food and a sit down is what you need."
Ellethwen nodded slowly. She was grateful to Mirima for her kindness, but did not know how to express it. She was not used to having friends. In Lorien she mostly kept herself to herself, walked alone, sang alone... but now suddenly she had company. And as for Taurvantian... what was it about him that made her feel so very different? She had never felt this way about anyone before, not ever.
She looked at him standing there. She wondered if he was afraid of talking to her. Perhaps she acted too cold towards him, too distant? But that was her way. It was strange enough for her to even smile at him. She hardly ever smiled.

Maethoriel and the wizard were having another mental war that much was certain. The two were glaring at each other with such ferocity that even the falling leaves seemed to drift apart as if they had hit a wall. As old as the two beings were they were so differently shaped by the world that it was difficult to believe that they could have anything they could share to start even a small conversation with.

The woman was the first to speak: "Do not patronize me Olorin, my doings are not your concern anymore."

"They are if they jepardize the rest of the lands, Narylfiel. The Valar would not approve of such rashness" he shot back, harshly.

"They will do no such thing, and you know it! You were sent to do the will of the Valar. Remember that your will and theirs are not one and the same, or it will lead you to folly."

"I am not worried for myself it is for other that I fear," the wizard responded, stepping forward pulling himself up so that he seemed to grow - the woman had gone too far with that comment, and now she would face his anger. Amazingly enough, the woman seemed to stand her ground.

"You have me fooled," she growled turning on her heel in fashion more quick than it should have been - she needed to get away from the man and now.

Gandalf let out a heavy sigh, his stature returning to that of a weary traveller who had seen far too much in his lifetime. He set his jaw in the realization that he would be dealing with this woman for far longer than he may wish. Shaking his head he cleared those thoughts from his mind and set them on more important matters.

"I need to speak with Thranduil," he said loudly, striding forward towards the entrance of the elven home. "I have information that must be shared."

After Zekiera lead the human man to the woman he exited the room, not wanting to intrude. It seemed something important that she wished to speak to him.

Ellethwen seemed so weak and wearied by the battle. There she was... leaning against the tree, with Mirima's steadying hand on her shoulder. To Taurvantian, Ellethwen looked as though a hearty breath of wind might sweep her away. His heart was pounding fiercely, as though it were ready to beat its way right out of his chest. He was light-headed... he felt strange... yet not ill. But his own troubles must be put aside, he told himself. He must not be concerned with his own strange feelings when there was a fair and weakened maiden upon the field of battle.

He resolved to do it, and he did it. He stepped forward - pulling his arms apart and bringing them in front of his body. "She will need help to get to her lodgings," he said softly to Mirima. "If she so desires, I could help her arrive there safely." His gaze, gentle and questioning, turned from Mirima to Ellethwen.
