amazing to see to many `oldies´ (including myself)...& newbies!

Hey Everyone! I have been with AU for sometime now tough my rank would suggest otherwise. I don't leave many posts but i enjoy reading everyones. I remember when I first became part of the forum, my parents thought I was mad and my friends never let the jokes die. But thats ok, pain comes with being different and a little bit of a geek and nerd.
I think I was in my second year of highschool when i first came across this forum. I am now in my second year of college. Time really fies. I am majoring in Biblical Studies and love love love Theology. I hope to teach it one day at my university and if i do than i will be the first female theology professor at my university.
My love for Toklien and the worlds that he has introduced to me and this world has not lessened over the years. At school we do focus more on CS Lewis and i deeply appreciate his work, but Toklien is still my favorite.
Well, thats about all i have to say. I miss wasting all my time on this site but there just arent enough hours in the day for me to fit it in to my recreaction time. May Toklien, Middle Earth and all the stories that we cherish in our heart live forever!! Keep it up Fans, it's up to us to keep it alive!

I just got a lovely e-mail about the fact that this reunion hand't ended!
It's been so long, I'm a junior in high school now and i stopped being active on the forum about two years ago. So much has changed in my life, for the better of course, and part of the reason that I havn't been as active on the forum is that I'm growing up and i've got stuff to do, and there's no time...and so on. I'm currenty in the IB program, and it's hard and sucking the life out of me, lol, and I'm a drama geek and it's great. I've always got loads to do though, and i'm alwyas heaps busy.
But just being back and lurkign around is simply lovely.
Seeing you oldies keeping this place alive is so so so so wonderful. I mean, A-U, was truley & honestly a home for me at a rocky point in my life, ive met loads of WONDERFUL people, really and...i dont even know what to say. Just seeing my old signature here makes me want to cry. A-U is amazing, please never let it die. <3
