Yeah, I have to give credit where credit is due. By the time I started watching Lost and liking Ben (why yes, those two events were simoltaneous  ) JF and FM had pioneered that road long ago. 
I agree PD, the first season just doesn't feel like Lost when I watch it! I mean, obviously it's Lost, but it's like looking at yourself a few years back. You don't feel like the same person, you know? Things have changed so much since the first season...
Oh gosh. I can spend HOURS looking for spoilers. But I see what you mean...obviously I want things to be answered, but it's got to build up for the last season, too.
Keamy was pure evil! I hated him, but I guess that's how you're supposed to feel. When I re-watched season 4 I was like "c'mon! someone kill him! NOW!" whenever he appeared.  I liked the other freighties though; Captain Gault, Doctor Ray.
Daniel Faraday is awesomeness. His awkward geniusness is just...
Charlotte is interesting. A lot of people seem to really not like her but I want to know more about her story and why she's so fiercely against Ben.
Frank is, again, awesome. His early belief in survivors and willingness to help them...and he's prettu funny too.
Miles is interesting. I don't like him that much, but I think Hurley got it right when he groaned, "Great. The boat sent us another Sawyer." _________________ <center> all we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us

Kidding. Sort of. I'm glad to find another Dan-fan, we're actually kind of rare among Losties. Don't know why. In my opinion he's the most wonderful character of all time...
...ahem. In other, not-so-obsessive news...
I did not look at any spoilers for this season! Well... kind of. I found out a few about Dan, but they weren't major plot spoilers or anything. 
The other Freighties... hmm, I really have begun to like Charlotte as well actually. She really seems to care for Dan, and she's a redhead, and she has a neat accent. I'll NEVER forget her being called "Mary Poppins". And Frank has his moments. Miles just gets on my nerves. I mean I kind of felt sorry for him when Locke stuck him in solitary confinement with the you-know-what in his mouth (*trying not to spoil anything for PD just in case*).
Then again, Locke is the bottom of the barrel for me as far as charries go. Ugh. In Season Four he's even worse than the Queen of Annoying, Ana Lucia. _________________ <center>

XD Sorry I can't help it. There I was enjoying my Desmond crush and BAM! I was completely bowled over by Dan. Watching up to 4 episodes a day wasn't helping either 
I wasn't keen on Charlotte, but I think her attitude is a facade of some sort. I'm warming up to her, I guess Season 5 will be the decider on wether I like her or not.
Miles XD I really like Miles. Though I think a lot of that is because Ken Leung was in X3 lol. I do like Miles though, he's snarky and I like that
I liked Frank too.
I go through phases with Locke, but I think as a character he's fantastic.
The only character that really irritated to me to the point of an almost broken tv was Shannon. _________________

Hehe, no need to worry, FM.  I’ve seen all of LOST up til this season, season 5.
Haha, Ana being the Queen of Annoying? Though, personally I have someone else in Lost who I would give that title to… but hey that’s just me. Kate
RA, I know what you mean about season one! It's just amazing how far they've taken the charries and the story!  btw, I liked the way you described it as looking back on yourself from several years ago... that was really brilliant.
awesome! It’s good to hear that someone else has searched long and hard for spoilers. I am really excited after some of the ones I’ve read. But since FM hasn’t read any I don’t want to spoil some things that I think will happen. 
Lotsa Dan-Love here. I still prefer Ben, Desmond, Sayid or Sawyer. though Daniel is really cool too, mind you.

PD: hehe, I kind of drift in and out of this thread between seasons. But I'm guessing the recent activity has to do with the approaching fifth season... sqqqueee!
Feel free to post spoilers, just post a *SPOILER!* warning before it, and I'll be sure to avoid it... unless I'm feeling weak and tempted. And in that case it's my own fault.
As far as my favorite characters hierarchy, it goes as follows: Daniel, Charlie, Ben, Sayid, Desmond, Libby, and Charlotte.
I don't really like Kate... but I LOVE Evangeline Lilly. I think she's one of the most beautiful, brilliant actresses of our time... and my respect for her earns me a grudging respect for Kate as well.
Have you guys ever heard about the green shirt? I was on a Lost forum once where people were talking about their various fan mail experiences, and I read this. You know the green shirt that Kate wore the first time she kissed Sawyer? Well a fan of Lost really liked said shirt, and wrote Evi asking her where she bought it at so they could buy one... and Evangeline actually sent them the shirt! Significance? There’s no significance whatsoever. He just heard JF talking about him forever (and how she had the same birthday as him or something ) but never really knew who he was… and now I do. That’s all.

TT, Oh, yeah, ok. That makes more sense now. I was wondering, TT… ‘cause I think ME has only been in Saw (as FM pointed out ) or some CSI shows, I think. I mean, the way you "said" that I thought there was some real significance for you.
FM, you should try to come around more and obsess about Lost in teh off season. Yeah, pretty much. Most of the recent activity has been season five oriented. good guess. lol
Awesome then! Hurrah for spoilers! I shall make sure to post that before any of them… when/if I find new ones since trying to post about all the ones I have found since I started looking would be an impossible task.
Cool fave characters! *gasps and dies* no Sawyer though? Wow.
Seriously? I have not heard about that! That is so sweet! Lucky Lostie! *dies* I would kill for some of the Lost props or costumes and whatnot… just ‘cause some of them are so darn cool. Anyway, that was really nice of Evangeline. I admit, I might not like Kate in the slightest, but I don't think her actress is a bad person (or actor!!) at all.

i've been watching season 4 on tv, and im extremely confused.
alex can't possibly be ben daughter cause she's danielles daughter!

Anywho, you’re right! Alex isn’t Ben’s daughter…  he adopted her after the Others took her from her mother when she was a baby and he basically raised her as his own, not telling her that her mother was a partially insane French woman running around somewhere in the jungle. *SPOILER (just in case. I don't know how much FM has learned about season five )* (I think we're going to be learning more about Rousseau’s history/past in this upcoming season actually )
Anyway, I am quite excited! I cannot believe it all starts up again tonight! this is the first season I've followed on tv and I am so..... YAY!!! And i t seems like there's stuff for it everywhere. I was just on YouTube and they have this rather large ad for it over there. lol it's insane. So that's what I'll be doing in several hours... getting my LOST fix. 
oh and btw, FM, LOVE the Dan set!

well i just watched what i think is the last episode of season 4 and im even more confuseddddddddd lol
why were they calling locke that other name, i can't remember what it was?
