Thankies ^-^
I must admitt, when I got the soundtrack I didn't reckon any of the songs would fit, especially SMBH, but now having seen the movie, my mind has been totally changed.
My fave songs are currently 'Eyes on Fire' and 'Flightless bird, American mouth' xD

i think robert is perfect for edward. i don't think kristen stewart is good for bella. i never read but i heard about these books and twilight totally gripped me and i've almost finished the fourth one now! and i think it would have been better if i'd read them before i knew who would be playing who because then i could decide for myself what they looked like. but every time i read the books, i see robert as edward, i see taylor as jacob and everyone else except kristen. she just doesn't do bella justice for me.
and i was dissapointed with the film. if you've never read the book then the film stands on it's own two feet but if you've read the book and you know while your watching it what scenes they've missed out, what scenes they've changed and what scenes they've added it's just not right.
im in love with twilight though. incredible story.
i even have a team edward shirt
about the choice of actors then.
edward, perfect
bella, no, just ... no
alice, perfect
charlie, perfect! he breaks my heart when bella leaves him in the film his face is perfect!
carlisle, perfect
jacob, im not too sure, i think taylor is abit of a pretty boy
not too sure about rosalie, jasper or emmet
or laurant, victoria and james for that matter haha. well, i think james is pretty good. you want to hate him and love him at the same time cause he's a baddy but he's gorgeoussssssssssss.
not really sure about rene as she doesn't come into the book so much. and im so used to sarah clarke being the baddy in 24 it just doesn't do much for me aha.
jessica is abit too over the top for me in the film.
mike i guess is pretty good.
angela is not what i expected but then again i probably didn't read the description of her very well. eric is the same haha.
so yeh. i prefer the books to the film. and i was so hoping the film would be perfect cause i wanna relive the story over and over again but i don't wanna have to read the books over and over again lol.
but i love twilight

I thought the Cullens were perfect. I wasn't a fan of Jasper's hair, and Nikki Reed isn't quite how I pictured Rosalie, but she still did a good job. I suppose we'll see how the actors do for their roles moreso in the next three movies... they are featured more
Yeah, KS as Bella isn't exactly what I expected... she made Bella kinda depressed. Bella's shy and a bit blue at times, but not really a loner. Ah well. KS did a fairly good job.

Oh man, they were considering casting another actor for older Jacob in the next movie. But I think they're sticking with Taylor. And I don't mind that he's a pretty boy. It's fitting for how I pictured Jake, actually.

Is anyone else concerned that they're still trying to cast for New Moon yet the tentative release date is later this year in November?

You know, I was just thinking that. The movie is supposed to come out in November, but they haven't even finished casting. That's awesome. Real nice.

I don't know if anyone else pointed this out, but did you guys see when Edward and Emmett collided in the baseball scene and Edward showed Emmett his middle finger? XD Plus I could have sworn he said something foul.

^ yes! I saw a thread at thetwilightsaga's forum about that, and there were links to video clips of that scene... slow-mo and everything. At first it looked like a stick on the ground or something, but... yeah, upon closer inspection, it's definitely the bird.
Kinda shocking, but I find it hilarious.

Hahaha, what?
That is actually really hilarious, and completely worthy of rewatching that scene.

Ok, that's a really good vid. The people playing Jasper and Alice actually look like... Jasper and Alice. And it's like the clothes were stolen from the set or something.
It looks like Twilight meets HSM. Funny!

I have read the whole thread through....whew!
- glad to see, that I´m not the only one with continued reservations about Robert Pattinson..
I loved the books, I enjoyed the movie, but Edward´s character needed more oomphf, than RP..gave it, unfortunnately!
And then again, I´m not quite sure who could play Edward character, as well as it is portrayed in the book???
Anyone?
