(Okay, everyone is in different places right? If that is wrong then just tell me.)
Lilith and Ronin, although not originally from the city adjusted to the new life fairly easily. The move had been tough, but actually settling in had been too simple. The two did not really enjoy the city atmosphere, everything was too crowded, people were not quite as personable as the two siblings were.
In contrast to the bustling city outside, their new home was too quiet for Lilith's taste. She missed the bustling of the old Shadin hideaway. There was rarely a moment when she was alone there, and it was odd to have no one to speak with when Ronin was away. In fact, it had become so thoroughly unbearable that the woman had adopted to stray cats to keep her company when her brother was away with the other conspirators.
That was something else she did not like, now that everyone was split up she rarely saw them because when they had meetings Ronin would pat her on the head and tell her not to worry that she was not needed for this one.
At the time Lilith was sitting at a small round table fixing a large hole in one of Ronin's shirts when her brother got back from wherever he had gone to. Two cats were both stretched on the unused area of the table - one was black and white, the other was orange.
As always he gave her a tight hug and kissed her on top her head. He was quite tired, even though Haven had not yet asked, Ronin spent his days wondering around the city trying to find routes to the palace and attempting to memorize where guards were set up.
The man looked over his sister unhappily, they were all stressed for decent provisions and consequently the two had both lost a considerable amount of weight. Ronin was certain that the fluctuation in his weight did not do much considering his size, but it was much more noticeable on his sister tiny frame.
"We'll be done wif' 'is soon, Lilith. And then we'll leave the city and go whereva' ya want," he said with a loving smile and then held up a bag that contained some food. "I got us dinner!"
Lilith smiled and put down her sewing to take the bag from her brother, "Well, no time to lose right?"

((Its alive...Yay, I'm happy this is starting up again!))
As the sun first touched the horizon, Tomos quickened his pace, pushing the wheelbarrow at a trot. He dumped the pile of horse manure and soiled bedding, then quickly jogged back to the stable. In the week that the Shadin had been relocated, Tomos had grown accostomed to his new life. The couple that took him and two other Shadin in ran a succesful inn near the edge of town. The couple took in all they could afford, so Tomos and the other two Shadin pulled thier weight by doing work around the inn. Tomos, who had just finished mucking the stables, krept into the kitchen for supper.
"There he is." Donna, the innkeeper's wife, remarked as she saw Tomos slink into the kitchen. "Haven't seen you all day." She looked up at him, a dangerous move considering that she was chopping vegetables for tommorow's stew.
"I was doing work at the stables. I managed to muck out all the stables." He replied, piling a plate with bread, meat, and cheese. When he first arrived, he would never have taken food without expressed permission. Donna had managed to beat the excessive politeness out of him, bluntly explaining that those that stayed under her roof and worked to stay there would be fed.
"A regular busy bee." She smiled, suddenly looking suspiciously around. "You know, Tomos, once you're done with your....shadin..tasks, you're welcome to come back. Same arrangment at we have now. You do wonderful work."
Tomos blushed. "Thank you Donna." He replied. "But I'll have to see how things work out. I don't know what will happen."
Donna nodded. "You and your friends are welcome anytime." The door opened suddenly, and James, Donna's husband, peeked his head into the kitchen.
"Tomos, good, you're back. Finished with the stables?" He asked.
Tomos nodded. "Just finished, sir."
"Excellent." James walked across the kitchen, gave Donna a peck on the lips, then stole a bite of cheese. They made an odd couple. Donna was taller than her husband, with a full figure and soft dark brown hair that seemed to escape her lazy ties. She was blunt, extroverted, and somewhat erratic. James was short and thin, wired with muscle. His sharp, angular face was handsome enough, framed with short blonde hair. He was far more patient than his wife, though quiter. Yet somehow the two still acted like a young couple. Tomos admired thier strong bond that kept them together.

[ Yay! I'm not sure if the King already returned so I'll just assume he didn't. ]
A soft chanting could be heard down in the dark depths of the Palace. It was more like toneless humming than chanting actually as there was no real melody in it. The guards who patrolled down there grew nervous in some way for it sometimes lasted for hours.
Keith didn't know what for effect he had on his surrounding. For this long time the limited darkness around him had been his world. The humming was merely a thing to pass the time without having to listen to the monotonous dropping of water which obviously somehow leaked into his cell. He felt like he would go crazy, if not by the sound of water, than by his own thoughts.
The man had reached the conclusion that the Shadin had abandoned him. Haven would probably believe that he'd betrayed them all. And Waverly... A lump formed in Keith's throat. He could better not think of her anymore. He rested against the wall of his cell, trying to cool his burning head against the cold stone. Did he catch a fever? Keith didn't know, for all he knew was that he had not gained much strength with what they fed him.
He dragged himself over to the source of sound that had irritated so much and cupped his hands to catch the water. When having a fever, you should drink alot.. That's what Lillith always taught the men. She had taught them alot..
It had now been 7 days but the King's Men had not yet returned. Otherwise Keith would have known it. But he feared the moment that they would return with their news. His hope on escape had faded away and it was replaced by a nagging feeling of fear. It was not the end he feared; but even more endless pain.

Wavorly sat across the table from her Haven, surrounded by the rest of their host family. Kali and Jon Matwood had seven children, and it was easy to get lost in the shuffle, even at the small table. The Mavericks sat quietly as the family settled, and Wavorly muttered a soft "amen" after Jon blessed the food, kicking her cousin under the table to do likewise, however begrudgingly.
"Won't you have seconds?" Mrs. Matwood asked in her soft voice, which was hoarse as usual from shouting for order. Haven gave her a thin smile, knowing she couldn't afford to offer anyway.
"Thank you, but no Kali." He retrieved his cloak from the hook on the wall. "I have a meeting to get to."
Wavorly looked up with a frown in her green eyes, the look forming the usual question, but Haven Maverick just shook his head. She sighed into her soup, hating being left behind.

[ Okay Well here's a new charrie. I just made her up ]
The door of the opposite house opened and a dark haired man around the age of twenty left the house of the Matwood's. A shadow moved restless in the dark alley, eyeing the man carefully and then suddenly leaped out of the darkness. It appeared the be a girl of perhaps nineteen summers old. She grabbed the arm of the man and turned to him: "Well well, if this isn't Haven Maverick.." The girl smiled at him, somewhat teasingly. Her colors of her eyes resembled with her long chestnut curls and they shone bright as she again looked at Haven from head to toe. "I have heard a great many tales of you."
[ I'm to lazy to come up with a bio but I got a picture of her.. http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b9/williemijnie/padme11-1.jpg

Haven eyed her evenly, instantly on guard. He shrugged off her grip, his face passive and laced with annoyance. "Well," he muttered, "Apparently your parents never taught you manners. Grabbing strangers like that..." His eyes narrowed a little, this child was making him late.
"Who are you?" he asked with a sharp casualness. "And what tails have you heard?" His tone was lowered, quieter.

"Oh yes.." the girl chuckled quite satisfied "I've heard you were of the cocky kind." As her hand was brushed off, she walked a few steps with rustling skirts, to stand right in front of him and block his way, ignoring his remark.
"I have heard many things, too many things.." she responded softly, her eyes shining with amusement. "Of who you are.. and what you lead."

Ronin and Lilith ate their meal in relative quiet - the only noise to be heard was the crackling fire and the clack of utensils against plates.
Ronin looked up from his food and to his sister who continued eating not noticing her brother. Something was wrong, he had been feeling something on the rise for two days now, but could not quite place a finger on it. He was hoping that it was a sign that the Shadin would be making their move against the king and his men soon. Ronin, although a firm believer in their cause was quite ready to have the whole thing over so that they may get back to their old life.
Sighing the man stood from his spot having finished his food. Taking his plate off the table he set it by the wash basin.
"Lilith, I've gotta go to the meetin', now," he said, watching as his sister's head raised when he spoke. "Lock the door aftah' me, wouldn' wan' anyone getting in with you here," he warned and his sister smiled.
"Alright, Ronin. Be careful," she said in a half-hearted manner.
Lilith was tired of being left out of the loop. She was worried about Keith's condition, and the rest of the group. Not being asked to these meetings just increased her stress and it was beginning to take it's toll. The blond was sure her brother knew how she felt even without her saying for he patted her head and said that the rest of them would be filled in before everything took place.
Lilith jumped up quickly before Ronin could walk out. "Oh! I need you to get this to Haven," she said handing a folded piece of paper that contained detailed instructions on what to do with his head wound. She may not be in the same house, but she'd make sure he'd remember to take care of it.
Ronin shook his head and took the paper, shoving it in his pocket, not truly wanting to know what was on it.
"Right, I'll be sure to do that. Have a good night, Lilith!" He called over his shoulder before the door shut behind him and he was off to the inn.

Haven side-stepped her. "Oh really? Well, if you know so much about me, you would know that I am a very busy man," he grumbled, annoyed by her vague persistence. "And I have places to go and people to see. So be on your way and mind your business, girl." He kept on walking, his hands shoved into his pockets.

"You are cocky.. but I wonder, boy, how they accept you as their leader when you look down at people and show disrepsect as you do?" she retorted. She stated her words so manner-of-fact-like that she probably came accross as bold but Anne did not mind. Although her features did not show it there was much at stake. Again she lay her hand on his arm to stop Haven. "You are in danger. They know.."

Haven inhaled a sharp breath, his spine going rigid with alarm. "That's impossible," he said under his breath, his shocking blue eyes level with hers. After all, he had taken the upmost care to protect their whereabouts, veiled under oaths of secrecy.
His lips formed a thin line as he tightened them. "What have you heard?" he demanded, not daring to say too much when he didn't know which side the girl was on.

[ *rubs hands* Anne is going to be fun ]
"I could probably tell you.. but here?" Her mischievious smile had returned as she waved around with her arms, gesturing to the dark streets. "Didn't you know that even the walls have ears here?" She shook her head dramatically, as if she couldn't believe such foolishness.
"But I'm sure you will find a proper commodity." Anne straightened her white skirt beneath her dark cloak and started to walk in the direction which Haven was already heading. The brown-haired girl looked back at the leader of the Shadin who still looked quite shocked. "Well aren't you coming?"
