Leon looked over at Brie and stood up. "I apologise for our tardieness, I wasn't feeling well and lost track of time."
The teacher nodded taking his explanation.
Leon really wasn't felling well. His head throbbed and he sat back down feeling a little dizzy.

Tamera hugged her friend. "Great ... I'll talk to you later then ... I want to hear all about this news!."

Leon went straight home after class and went up to his room. Jonon was a little suprised that Leon didn't say anything whn he came in. He ran striaght to Meggie. "I think something is wrong with Master Leonidas..."

Meggie nodded and headed up to his room where she found him curled up an a dark corner.

Leon pressed his hands to the sides of his head. It trobbed and he was beginning to see colors. "Meggie ... " He wimpered softly.

Meggie helpped him into bed and retreaved an icepack from the freezer, carefully wrapping it before placing it under his head. "Just rest ..." She wispered soothingly.

Durring dinner Brie told her mom all about Leon. she didnt exsactly tell her that they were an "item" but she did say they were really good friends.
After dinner Brie ran up to her room and called Tamara.

Tamera looked up from her work as her cell phone rang. She smeiled seeing Brie's name flash across the screen, then answered it. "Tell me tell me!!!!" She said wanting to know what the news was.

Meggie sat on the bed next to Leon watching as he drifted off to sleep.

Leon closed his eyes allowing the ice to numb his mind. The pain was still there, just easier to deal with now. It wasn't long before he was asleep.

Tamera's eyes went wide in suprise. "Leon .... wait ... what? Leon ... kissed you!!! You are going to be the envy of the school you know that right? You're going to have every girl there either glarring daggers at you or asking you your secret. Not to mention every guy drooling over you. Leon is the most popular guy at the school... Your rank just went from "new girl" to "school babe" in like two seconds ..." Tamera stopped for a breath. "So ... what did you do?"

"Just keep your eyes on Leon... being popular doesn't mean anything except that alot of people think you're cool. You don't have to be any less you." Tamera said. "Hold on a minute ... I have a beep in." She looked down at her phone and frowned seeing Leon's name flashing on the screen. "Well speak of the Devil ... " She muttered to herself as she flipped over. "Hello?"

Meggie smiled hearing the vice presedent's voice. "I'm really sorry to bother you, but Leon isn't goig to be at school tomorrow, can you please have someone collect the work he will need to make up. Thank you ... I'll send someone to get it after school tomorrow."

Tamera was suprised by this little turn of events and flipped back over to talk to Brie. "Hey ... That was Meggie on the other line. She called to ask me to get tomorrows class work for Leon. Apparently he's not feeling well again."

"Tell you what, I'll get his work together, and then you can take it to him. I don't want yo intrude on anything. Besides ... I have a few things to do to get the councel ready for the school festavle. It would save me alot of trouble. Not to mention I like getting all my information from the source so I can imagine what happened." She grinned impishly. "It's like my own peronal soap opera." She couldn't help but laugh at the thought.

Brie laughed. " oh whatever." she said playfully. " alright well i guess i'll get the work and give it to him." she said in a sad sarcastic tone. " i'll talk to you tomorrow. bye" she hung up the phone.

" Brie honey come down here please" Brie's mom said.
Brie went downstairs. her mom looked a little stressed. " honey, your cousin Sarah is coming to live with us."
Brie was shocked. " what?!"
"she has gotten into some trouble and her parents think this would be a good place for her...it's only for a little while."
Brie did not get along with her cousin sarah, she was boy crazy, selfish and just plain stupid.
" when is she coming in?" Brie asked in a not so nice tone.
" tomorrow afternoon after you get home from school." she said sighing a bit.
" fine but i have things to do after school so i wont be home right at 4." Brie ran upstairs and slamed her door. thank God they had a guest bedroom. she would die if she had to share her room.

the next day Brie went to class. she knew the day would be boring, no leon and she would only see Tamara at lunch and free period and after school.

Tamera couldn't wait till lunch She gathered all the work that Leon would need along with the notes for each class and went in search of her best friend. "Hey... you look a little green... what's up?" She asked sitting down and pulling out her lunch box. "You're not nervous about seeing Leon are you? I wouldn't worry about it, Meggie may not let you see him at all. She's like MAJORLY protective of him when he's ill." She shook her head and bit into the sandwitch she had.

"Don't get your pants in a knott. She's just funny when it comes to his health. You wouldn't know it to look at her and Jonon, but they are both medical geniuses. Meggie is only 23 and is a trained doctor, and Jonon is always researching the medicinal uses of plants. Why do you think Leon drinks alot of hot teas?" She asked giving Brie a look. "And I really wouldn't worry about your cousin. Leon is a gentlemen and wouldn't do anything to hurt you EVER." She finished off her lunch and threw her trash away. "Oh before I forget again. Here..." She pulled out the schoolwork and handed it to Brie. "Don't freek... I'm pretty sure Meggie will let you see him, but in case she doesn't at least you were warned."
