I think Cirdan is much older (I know...) he is one of the eldest that still delves in middle earth and not the least wise ... But he doesent concern much for the peril of the world...

Oh, definitely. Círdan first appears (if I recall correctly) when Elwë is captivated/entranced by Melian, or sometime thereabouts. He's been around for literally ages. He's several thousand years older than Elrond.
