I have no idea why I didn't watch Disney movies! I guess my parents just didn't show them. This is pretty sad, but the first time I saw Beauty and the Beast was in 7th or 8th grade for a project. Well, at least I knew Simba was a lion, even though I messed up on the character.
Aww, thanks! Every time I watch the Phantom, I just melt at that scene. I don't normally get emotional during movies, but I always choke up at the end. *sniffles* HE LOVES HER SO MUCH!!!!
Don't worry about it! I occasionally go on graphic making rampages for a week, and then for the next week can't stand to make anything at all.

Well, it's never too late to start watching them! I'm actually finding that I enjoy Disney movies more now that I'm a teenager, if that makes any sense whatsoever. XD
So, all my volleys have been rather angsty lately, but I went to the light side with this one. Start Again is a beautiful song about healing and reconciliation, and so I had to go with this scene from RotK because...it's just amazing. I think Sam and Frodo's friendship is really powerful. Even when Frodo goes berserk, Sam is still loyal to him. And Sam, I think, was really hurt by Frodo, but he didn't let that get in the way of their quest, and in the end they were able to forgive each other and start again. I love the quiet smile they send each other during this scene, it's like all is forgiven and nothing needs to be said.

I grew up on Disney movies - The Lion King was my absolute favorite. I used to have it memorized, word-for-word - my brother and I would choose characters and quote the whole movie together, songs included. I'm not as into them anymore, simply because I'm a college student and have no time, but it can be fun to go back and watch them again. It's amazing how much more you appreciate when you're older.
OK, my volley. And yes, I admit to being a die-hard, unmovable, complete Will/Elizabeth shipper. Sorry Rose. I guess that's at least one thing we disagree on, out of hundreds.

*runs into thread, gasping for breath* I'm still alive! I'm really sorry about the wait.
Sis, that's such a touching blend! I really like the lighter side you gave it. AF, that blend is stunning! It reminds me of a combination between Pandora and Ali's work.
haha Tariel, I think that's about the first thing we've come across that we don't agree on. That's fine; I shall continue to be your polar opposite in that area...and might even counteract your Willabeth with a Sparrabeth blend somewhere along the line.
You guys both knew this was coming one time or another. heehee I've always considered this an A/E song, mainly because the song is one of my all-time favorites, and the lyrics in the beginning just scream A/E. "I remember everything, everything I loved-I gave it away like it wasn't enough"

^When I messed with the picture, the Eowyn one took on some weird colors.

Lovely graphics, all of you!
I'm particularly taken with your A&E blend, Silvery O_o It's so sad and moving, it's really emotional and just beautiful.
P.S. I will not be converted from E&F though... however amazing A&E really are

*hugs PD and Goldie* Thanks so much! This battle has been so much fun, and it's great that Red's lyrics can be taken in so many directions.
I'm so glad you like teh blend, Goldie! Well, if I can't convert you (which was never my intent in the first place), then I might as well join you! I do think E/F is adorable, but A/E is the ship that really appeals to my shipping nature. (How many times have we been over this? I'm feeling a strange sense of deja vu.)

Thank you so much, Goldy and PD!
AF, I really like the textures you used. It's really grungy and different than your normal style, but it turned out really good!
Sis, ahh, that breaks my heart...because while I agree that A/E is a good pairing and they did feel attracted to each other, and even though I've made a few A/E graphics myself, I still feel mostly E/F. Aaanyways, I really like the text placement.
I did a banner this round, because it worked out better that way. As I said before, I'm an E/F shipper, and anyways, Eowyn is really pretty in that scene. And I love that picture of Faramir. Even though it's from a different scene.
I think the reason I chose them for this song is self-explanatory. Eowyn really could never be the same after loving Faramir.

*slinks into thread* No, I am not dead. In fact, I didn't forget about this at all! I just didn't have any inspiration for the blend I had started. So, about 9 days later (thanks for reminding me make that blend with your lovely bump, AF! ), I ish here!
Aww, those banners are so sweet, guys! This song is very well suited to Eowyn and her relationships with Faramir and Aragorn. I consider this an A/E song, but I decided to make a Sparrabeth blend instead.

This one particularly struck me, although they are all beautiful. I think it's the simplicity of it and the way the text glows on the background. Love it, Alta - but then again, I've always loved your graphics. Kudos for being able to use that font, as well - I've tried to work it into my graphics and it just won't fit.
EDIT -- SR, I love how you've started to make the text work better on your graphics - muchos easier to read and still very pretty.

That's a really sweet banner, AF! Sis, I agree with Ara on the font. (Althought it's not as shiny as your other work, but yeah, I'm just obsessed with shiny stuff. ) I like how you blended all the different images together.
I did Anakin again. Because it just seems that Anakin is perfect for this entire album.

Lol, I realized that this is the 2nd time I've done a blend for this battle featuring a fiery scene and an evil looking picture of the character on the left. (Compare with my Death of Me volley.)

Wow. You girls really outdid yourselves this round! Those blends are incredible!
Estie: I think my heart jumped when I saw yours! I couldn't stop staring at his eyes for some reason. Very creepy, but very good. And I just now noticed the border. I love it! About the font, I noticed JF's font, fell in love with the shiny but not glowyness of it all, and wanted to try it out. This one has slightly glowy font, but it's in black which makes it hard to see.
Tariel: That eye is just...wow. That text about the pupil is ingenious! In my personal opinion, this is one of the most complex, stunning things you've ever made. It's flawless!
Aramel: I'm glad you think I'm improving! I've been making an effort to keep the text glowy but still visible.
I decided to use Wolverine for this song a long time ago. This song is just so perfect for his struggle, especially his flashbacks to when he was turned into Wolverine. He flashes back to his past in the first X Men when he's sleeping, so I thought the lines were even more fitting.

AF: Wow. I love how you have the text wrapping around the eye! It's really pretty, and I just love how the whole blend is seemingly simple yet really complex. I could stare at it for hours!
Silver: I haven't seen that, but that's a really cool blend! What fonts did you use? They're really cool. (Wait, I think that "I can escape this nightmare" is Evanescent...right?) Anyways the blending is great and I love the colors!
